Padstow and Newquay are equidistant, each offering their own unique charm and facilities, such as surf schools, a zoo, marine aquarium, off road cycling trails, kite surfing, world-renowned chefs and their restaurants, with Rick Stein in Padstow and Jamie Oliver at Watergate Bay, sea fishing, kayaking and go-karting. A comfortable cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well equipped. The Wi-Fi worked well, this was important for our party, as some needed to keep in touch with their work. The kitchen was generally good, although some saucepans did not have lids to fit.

We loved the cottage but were disappointed with St Coloumb. The double beds were not comfortable. It is in an excellent position for many lovely beaches.

10 of us stayed in this property over New Year and it was pretty much perfect for us. It was within walking distance of several pubs and shops and the house itself was extremely comfortable and spacious. The only downside was that it was quite close to a main road making it a little noisy. Also we did not find the iPod dock which was a little disappointing as would have liked some music
