Of course, views from the village towards the surrounding fells are great but venture onto the low level slopes of Loughrigg for example and you’ll see Ambleside and majestic Lake Windermere at their very best. Slightly elevated above this popular tourist resort yet only a three minute walk into Ambleside sits Hill Cottage, a modern take on a country cottage offering quality facilities for the smaller party. Up to the minute styling and modern fittings ensure your every comfort and with a huge living space and two good bathrooms, luxury linen on all beds, the accommodation is very flexible ensuring you can all get up and ready with the least amount of fuss, get on your walking boots and head to the hills! And Hill Cottage offers Wi-Fi access so you can even check the forecast before you set off.
