Nice comfortable cottage in an attractive elevated position at the top of the village just yards from excellent pub with views to the church and hill walks literally from the doorstep. Very clean, well equipped, warm, 10 minutes drive from Buxton, well proportioned rooms, good dining space in the kitchen, good shower over the bath and everything worked well. Owners very accommodating and on hand to help if needed but we had no issues whatsoever and would recommend highly.

Highlow was very comfortably furnished, warm and cosy. It is very convenient being next door to the pub which serves reasonably priced, tasty pub food. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the possible cooking utensils you would need. The location is good for walkers as you can walk out the door and straight onto walking paths. There is no WIFI but you can use the free WIFI at the pub next door as the pub owners also own the cottage. We were made to feel very welcome and I would book Highlow again.

Fabulous set up with the pub next door and walks on your doorstep. Just park your car, put away your keys and enjoy a few relaxing days walking during the day and coming back to a lovely home cooked meal and glass of wine in the evening next door at the pub where they make you feel very welcome. Would recommend this cottage to others.

We have stayed in many cottages over the New Year period and this one will be hard to beat. Spotlessly clean with everything a family needs for a self catering break. Many walks from the cottage door and not to mention the fantastic pub next door! The owners are always on hand if needed(which they weren't). Even with several inches of snow outside, the house was always warm and cosy. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday cottage.
