Lovely cottage. Perfect location. Great walks from the door. Pub with good meals within walking distance. Lovely garden and views. All the home comforts but in a traditional cottage style. My daughter loved the twin room. Would recommend owner just putting in some high ball glasses and option for thinner duvet as the thick ones a little hot in summer. But fantastic stay best cottage I have stayed in for a while. Thank you.

A most beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. It's a shame we didn't have time to visit the area as we were there whilst our son was competing in Sheffield but would have no hesitation in booking here again.

Loved the house and particularly the location up a hill with amazing views (maybe not so good if not able bodied). gardens are amazing - lots of space for children to run around. House itself is a little dark but that comes with the charm and quirkiness of such an old house. Really loved it. Perhaps a little more attention in cleaning the cottage would have been good - lots of cobwebs! But not a big deal really and completely outweighed by the positives of the house.

Great location, a stones throw from lovely countryside ambles, super local pub with excellent food and service. Further afield easy access to the Peaks.

We love this cottage. It is as close as possible to being ideal, given that is is an old cottage with lovely old steep stairs and typical small windows. The view is wonderful, and the surrounding garden secluded and beautiful.

Great cottage in a good location for walking. Only mild criticism was that there was a lack of recycling information/facilities

Lovely cottage Lovely cottage in lovely Hathersage. Only criticism, (if that is what it is), is that after a long day on the hills, the walk up to the cottage was a killer; however, the hot shower which more "sand- blasts" you than washes, was absolutely wonderful.

Highbury Cottage was wonderful, we stayed over Christmas, the owner had left us a tree & a Christmas CD, just a lovely touch. It was very warm & cosy, we all have a really realaxing time.

What a beautiful cottage and such stunning views. I took my parents for the week and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the nights were a little cooler and we were unable to work the heating but the electric fire was nice and cosy. Lovely cottage feel, a little surprised the bathroom was downstairs when we arrived but we adapted well. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent cosy country cottage with lovely views walks on the doorstep, great pub nearby and also very near to sheffield. Perhaps a little expensive for 4 nghts but very nice.
