Lovely cottage Lovely cottage in lovely Hathersage. Only criticism, (if that is what it is), is that after a long day on the hills, the walk up to the cottage was a killer; however, the hot shower which more "sand- blasts" you than washes, was absolutely wonderful.

Highbury Cottage was wonderful, we stayed over Christmas, the owner had left us a tree & a Christmas CD, just a lovely touch. It was very warm & cosy, we all have a really realaxing time.

Excellent cosy country cottage with lovely views walks on the doorstep, great pub nearby and also very near to sheffield. Perhaps a little expensive for 4 nghts but very nice.

What a beautiful cottage and such stunning views. I took my parents for the week and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the nights were a little cooler and we were unable to work the heating but the electric fire was nice and cosy. Lovely cottage feel, a little surprised the bathroom was downstairs when we arrived but we adapted well. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cottage, lovely setting. Comfort score only down due to nature of stairs, these are tricky for elderly, otherwise, everything one could expect. Also worth mentioning it is up a reasonable slope from the village - makes it quieter and more remote but again for elderly might be an issue.

This is a lovely, well-situated cottage that has all of the equipment and utensils that we needed for a week-long stay. If there was a slight criticism, it would be that we like a hard mattress and the one on the double bed was soft and a bit uncomfortable for us but that is personal preference! We would definitely visit again.
