Had a lovely stay, the owner is lovely, friendly and helpful. When we arrived at the cottage the owner had left tea coffee and cake also wine flower and chocolate and eggs which was really appreciated. We enjoyed our stay it was cosy well looked after, we loved putting the fire on which was great on a cold evening. Nice cottage, we would go back again such a relaxing break. There are lots of things to do in the area.

Gorgeous cottage in a tranquil setting. I didn't want to leave at the end of the week and am considering making this an annual visit.

a welsh cottage with wild garden and tumbling stream, lots of wildlife and sheep and away from other properties for total privacy. lounge cosy if a little full of furniture with best log fire burner we have ever had....follow the instructions for roaring fire every time. beds very comfy and first bedroom very good size. kitchenette only for basic use. shocked at 2 mm of fur in pottery teapot and stain and corrosion in metal alternative and kettle has seen better days. this would be less that £30 to solve. purchased our own kettle and pot first evening. cottage decor and carpets looked rather tired but the place has been holiday let since 1980. Shower in bathroom excellent but let down by wall heater cutting out far too quickly for comfort when washing. owner olwen was very pleasant and the eggs, welsh cakes, chocolate cake and red wine were very welcome on arrival. great bolt hole for hill walking and exploring the tumbling wooded border country.
