We would have no hesitation in recommending High View for a family holiday and were almost disappointed that we didn't have a dog to bring with us!! Very friendly hosts and even the rainy weather did little to dampen our enthusiasm. Will definitely be back.

Yes our family loved high view, the views from the lodge are just fantastic. our dog was in a safe location, the wildlife was great to watch - bring your bird books. The fishing lake was nice to while away the time. the nearby towns, villages etc great to visit. The local beach was not too great but Newquay just down the coast has a great one. Lots of places to walk and several nice National Trust places to visit. The Lodge is very comfortable, we stayed there 2 years running and would certainly look at going again at some point.

Fantastic luxurious lodge, we loved it. Especially the tranquility, stargazing we saw 20+ meteorites, in excess of 70 canadian geese, countless birds and lovely busy bees, the views of the sky amazing. George and Rai have a wonderful eco space and we enjoyed every minute indulging, they are very sympathetic and fabulous respectful hosts. Our 11 year son and his dad had a fabulous first time experience fishing. Couldn't have wanted more - best cottage we've rented. A very special holiday which we'll keep treasured memories of.

Spacious and comfortable lodge set in peaceful surroundings. Lovely welcome from Rae and thank you for the welcome pack. Wonderful base for exploring the beautiful welsh countryside. We had a very enjoyable fortnight watching the Canada geese goslings grow. When sitting on the veranda there was always something to see. The sunsets are spectacular. Jane & Bill
