After a busy day exploring the area, relax on your very own balcony and enjoy the sea and mountain views.

Nestled in an idyllic, peaceful location with glorious sea and mountain views, High View makes the most of its outlook over Cardigan Bay with floor length picture windows and a large, decked balcony; perfect for quiet contemplation with a glass of wine in hand. This fantastic lodge is finished to a very good standard with a large, open-plan living area, making it a very sociable, light and airy space. The kitchen has granite worktops and integrated appliances and the master bedroom features a dressing area leading to an en-suite rainfall shower room and toilet. An additional twin bedroom and separate family bathroom with over bath shower and toilet completes the accommodation.
The 8 acres of private grounds and lakes are a haven for birds and wildlife. The owners have kept notes of bird sightings recorded by guests and they include red kite, bean goose, reed warbler, pied wagtail, goldfinch and skylark to name but a few.
The Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, with its rows of coloured houses is just 5 miles away, and here you will find a selection of chic shops and eateries, including award-winning restaurants and the must-try famous honey ice cream cabin. From here you can either drive or take a pleasant traffic free walk to the nearby National Trust site Llanerchaeron Estate with attractive gardens and gentleman’s residence. A little further down the coast will bring you to the quaint seaside town of New Quay, where the houses cling to the rocks and the narrow streets lead to the harbour wall where you can catch a dolphin-spotting boat trip (in season) or enjoy fish and chips whilst watching the many boats bobbing about. Both Cardigan with its castle and Aberystwyth with its promenade and electric cliff railway are easy accessible. If walking is your thing, the coastal path offers 65 miles to explore; you can walk a stretch of it and then catch the Cardi Bach bus home.
Come and immerse yourself in this breathtaking area with abundant wildlife, varied landscape, rugged coastline, sandy beaches, a long history and characteristic market towns. It’s a very special place to visit and High View is a very special place to stay. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Set in idyllic, unspoilt and peaceful countryside with shimmering lakes and panoramic views of the dramatic Ceredigion coastline, this superb holiday lodge has been furnished to the highest standard and provides an ideal touring base for a family or couple looking for an adventure. Outside there is a large balcony overlooking the 8 acres of private grounds and lakes, where you can sit and relax and unwind after spending days out on explorations. We absolutely loved High View, it was so relaxing. Beautiful place with everything you could possibly need. The views from the lodge were amazing and the wildlife too. Rae and her family were so welcoming and gave us lots of information about the surrounding areas. Our 10 year old daughter also loved it here and fell in love with Mollie the families dog. It was a perfect holiday with loads of places to visit in the area.

The holiday got off to a lovely start with the warm friendly welcome from Rae and of course her home-made welsh cakes!! The lodge was amazing the photo's don't do it justice. The area is beautiful and scenic very relaxing and tranquil. We went to the famous Devil's Bridge on the steam train recommended by Rae & George and its definitely w;orth the visit amazing views from the train and of the waterfall. We also visited Mwnt and climbed the hill for the beautiful views and spotted some dolphins; and the 2hr boat trip with Spotting Dolphins was brilliant Ben and Amir were great very informative and stopping so we could take pictures of the seal and dolphin that were spotted by Amir. We were also treated to the sights of the resident water vole and got some cute pics and a video. All in all it was a wonderful week.

Received a warm welcome from Rae and George on arriving at their fabulous parc. Wonderful location with far reaching views of both the sea and mountains in the distance. So very quiet, and a lovely place to unwind surrounded by fabulous Welsh countryside and wildlife. The lodge is of a very high standard and extremely comfortable with everything ( and I mean EVERYTHING) you will need for a very relaxing holiday. Our two weeks flew by and wish we could have stayed longer. Travelled around the area and visited many local places of interest, and found some lovely little beaches to unwind on. Cannot recommend this lodge highly enough, probably the best holiday home we have stayed in... gold standard all round, next time we wont pack so many clothes as it's such a bonus to have a washer/drier on hand... a real home from home. The welcome tray was also a nice touch after a long journey... they really have thought of everything.

A really peaceful yet stunning location. The lodge itself was very luxurious and the welcome tray was a lovely bonus. Rae took the time to advise us of local attractions and walks and pubs we could take our dog too.mnothing was too much trouble and there is nothing like enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine on our veranda at sunset.mwould definitely return and recommend!

We enjoyed an excellent week at High View, which is luxury accommodation in a unique natural setting. If you want tranquillity, good views, comfort and the opportunity to watch wildlife from the veranda, High View is a must. With easy access to the coast and small towns of Wales, High View provides a superb base. Very well equipped, to the highest standards and in it's own parkland, a stay at High View is a real treat: an oasis of peace, far removed from the bustle of modern life. During our stay, we saw Red Kites almost every day, skylarks, flocks of gold finch, sand martens, and a bewildering array of moths and butterflies, along with lots of pond life- including water voles! Rae was a unobstrusive host who takes great pride in Parc Morlais and provided a lovely welcome pack.
