After a busy day exploring the area, relax on your very own balcony and enjoy the sea and mountain views.

Nestled in an idyllic, peaceful location with glorious sea and mountain views, High View makes the most of its outlook over Cardigan Bay with floor length picture windows and a large, decked balcony; perfect for quiet contemplation with a glass of wine in hand. This fantastic lodge is finished to a very good standard with a large, open-plan living area, making it a very sociable, light and airy space. The kitchen has granite worktops and integrated appliances and the master bedroom features a dressing area leading to an en-suite rainfall shower room and toilet. An additional twin bedroom and separate family bathroom with over bath shower and toilet completes the accommodation.
The 8 acres of private grounds and lakes are a haven for birds and wildlife. The owners have kept notes of bird sightings recorded by guests and they include red kite, bean goose, reed warbler, pied wagtail, goldfinch and skylark to name but a few.
The Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, with its rows of coloured houses is just 5 miles away, and here you will find a selection of chic shops and eateries, including award-winning restaurants and the must-try famous honey ice cream cabin. From here you can either drive or take a pleasant traffic free walk to the nearby National Trust site Llanerchaeron Estate with attractive gardens and gentleman’s residence. A little further down the coast will bring you to the quaint seaside town of New Quay, where the houses cling to the rocks and the narrow streets lead to the harbour wall where you can catch a dolphin-spotting boat trip (in season) or enjoy fish and chips whilst watching the many boats bobbing about. Both Cardigan with its castle and Aberystwyth with its promenade and electric cliff railway are easy accessible. If walking is your thing, the coastal path offers 65 miles to explore; you can walk a stretch of it and then catch the Cardi Bach bus home.
Come and immerse yourself in this breathtaking area with abundant wildlife, varied landscape, rugged coastline, sandy beaches, a long history and characteristic market towns. It’s a very special place to visit and High View is a very special place to stay. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Set in idyllic, unspoilt and peaceful countryside with shimmering lakes and panoramic views of the dramatic Ceredigion coastline, this superb holiday lodge has been furnished to the highest standard and provides an ideal touring base for a family or couple looking for an adventure. Outside there is a large balcony overlooking the 8 acres of private grounds and lakes, where you can sit and relax and unwind after spending days out on explorations. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at High View and most certainly won`t be the last, which in itself says it all. I can be quite picky when it comes to accommodation, cleanliness and comfort and not many I have stayed at I give a 10 but High View is exceptional in all aspects. The views are amazing, there are so many walks in the area and Rae, the owner is extremely helpful without being intrusive in any way. Can highly recommend.

We would have no hesitation in recommending High View for a family holiday and were almost disappointed that we didn't have a dog to bring with us!! Very friendly hosts and even the rainy weather did little to dampen our enthusiasm. Will definitely be back.

Yes our family loved high view, the views from the lodge are just fantastic. our dog was in a safe location, the wildlife was great to watch - bring your bird books. The fishing lake was nice to while away the time. the nearby towns, villages etc great to visit. The local beach was not too great but Newquay just down the coast has a great one. Lots of places to walk and several nice National Trust places to visit. The Lodge is very comfortable, we stayed there 2 years running and would certainly look at going again at some point.

Fantastic luxurious lodge, we loved it. Especially the tranquility, stargazing we saw 20+ meteorites, in excess of 70 canadian geese, countless birds and lovely busy bees, the views of the sky amazing. George and Rai have a wonderful eco space and we enjoyed every minute indulging, they are very sympathetic and fabulous respectful hosts. Our 11 year son and his dad had a fabulous first time experience fishing. Couldn't have wanted more - best cottage we've rented. A very special holiday which we'll keep treasured memories of.

High View rates as one of the best properties we have rented. The location is fantastic, the lodge contains all you could wish for to make your holiday a success. The weather wasn't fantastic but we can't think of a better place to sit and watch the wind and rain. Wildlife on and around the lakes kept our cameras clicking and we were able to leave a long list of creatures observed. Thank you for a great holiday.
