We have recently visited High Point Lodge our first time to the area and we were very pleased with cottage and it's location. No issue with parking or accessibility. Also, fantastic views from the sofa in the living room. We are a family of 5 and all of us fully enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation revisiting again!!!

Beds, bathing/shower facilities & lounge good; kitchen cramped but adequate, with very random set of equipment, pans and glasses. Nice decorative touches.

Great location with wonderful views from the property. Its only 10-20 minutes drive to a number of attractions, including Stanage Edge, Curbar Edge, Longshaw Estate, Lady Bower Reservoir, Derwent Valley, Castleton, Winnats Pass, Mam Tor, Blue John cave, etc. Comfortable beds and pillows, and the kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The owner lives above the property. She is very nice and helpful. There is a local shop a few minutes away where you can buy basic supplies. Parking is a bit tight for two medium sized cars but adequate. Not suitable for people with mobility problems as the property Is accessed down some steep steps. Otherwise, very nice accommodation and very good value for money. We will definitely come back!

Our fourth visit and well worth it. Great place to stay with both interesting places to visit and the natural beauty of the Peak District. We will be back.

I found the accommodation comfortable and well equipped with great views from the lounge windows across the valley. The accommodation is a bit of a walk up hill from the village center but convenient for walks out onto quiet country roads
