What a stunning cottage! The owners have gone out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and more for a wonderful stay, including a great welcome pack too. It’s surrounded by beautiful views, the gardens are lovely and very peaceful. The island itself is really pretty and delightful. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely go back.

Very cosy, homely and well equipped holiday home. The isle of Seil has few attractions or amenities. It is probably a very good location for people who want to relax and enjoy the completely peaceful and quiet surroundings, but for active tourism / sightseeing / hiking visitors like us the location is too isolated and requires too much driving time over single track roads to reach a worthwhile destination. That also implies shopping for food, with the only proper shops half an hour away in Oban.

lovely location and a warm welcome from the owners. I struggled with the cooker hob but when I rang the owners they explained how it worked with great patience and it was ok.

This was our second stay at High Pastures and it is an excellent place to base yourself to explore the area around Oban and the surrounding islands. It's also an excellent house to spend some time in if the weather isn't the best for going out. The whole family love staying here, our 3 young children loved it and love explore the hill behind the house. We are already look forward to coming next year.
