We stayed here with our dogs for the weekend at the end of October. It's a Lovely spacious cottage in a stunning setting. The cottage was extremely spacious but with a nice cosy feel to it. Furnished well with An enormous supply of crockery and kitchen equipment should you wish to cook. Plenty of clean linen, cupboards full of board games, a music room means if you are having a cosy afternoon in there is still plenty to do. washing and cleaning facilities available however you do need to take washing powder if you needed to use the washing machine. It really was a perfect get away and we would most definitely go back again.

Hoel Llygoden is in a beautiful part of Wales with plenty of attractions within a 30 minute drive. The house has everything you need and the housekeeper was there to welcome us and answer any questions. The WiFi was intermittent but that is flagged on the cottage details and in reality we were able to get onto the internet it was just slightly slow. For us it became a positive as it encouraged the teenagers to join us downstairs in the evening for a game (there was a good supply at the house), rather than go up to their rooms. My only criticism would be the upkeep of the garden. The grass was slightly long when we arrived and we were not aware that anyone came to cut in during our 2 week stay. Some of the trees on the drive also need cutting back as they were hitting the roof of the car. The bench and seats in the front garden were not really usable(either broken or mouldy) although the bench in the back garden was relatively new and we were able to sit out and eat our lunch looking at the Black Mountains, which was lovely.

Our family of 12 had a great time in this super house. Great fires everynight after very active walking, zip wires, and visiting many places of interest. Fantastically well equiped kitchen for lots of dinners. Beautifull situation with llamas nearby to make us smile.

Great place to stay, comfortable, good size, the kitchen has all you need. Good walks right from the door with places to visit by car in the area. Would recommend the house.

A group of 9 of us stayed at this cottage for the second time a few weekends ago. Both times we've loved it, it's very comfortable and well equiped with some great walks right from the door and an excellent pub a short walk away. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage with stunning views and walks from the door. Very warm and comforting. A couple of minor things...Will mention though that the pub across the road only opens Friday and Saturday. Would definitely stay again.... Great beds and good showers!

A beautiful well equipped and spacious 'cottage', if there is a downside it's that you need to drive for an evening out
