The cottage is really beautiful, it's old fashioned but in a lovely quaint way. Lots of space for everyone, the kitchen is huge and the living room comfortable. There is a proper cot upstairs too. It's on a little farm with horses and some chickens and is less than 10 minutes from Warminster, with supermarkets and restaurants. There are also lots of lovely walks nearby in the forest. The garden is small but enclosed, although chickens sometimes sneak in. A couple of points. I did have an issue with the beds, the upstairs double bed was very uncomfortable, I spent an awful night trying to sleep and then slept the rest of the time in the single bed. The mattress just sinks straight down so you can feel the bed underneath. Even the single bed was uncomfortable, but tolerable. Didn't bother my husband at all. Weirdly my son found a fisherman's friend on his bed. I didn't know what it was at first, it freaked me out thinking it was some sort of meds There is no WiFi, and poor signal, so working was difficult for me (I know it's a holiday, but I sadly had to work). It would also be good to know ahead, that you can't use biological washing powder in the machine, there is eco liquid there, but I didn't like it, but had only had biological. But overall I loved my stay at henrietta cottage, it was close to so much, and I could have happily have stayed another week to explore more. Great value for money and my kids loved seeing the horses and chickens every morning, also the lovely dogs wandering around. Thanks for a great time.

Perfect location for a walking holiday with friends. Plenty of living space plus three toilets and two bathrooms so no awkward queuing! Utility room near front door with hot and cold water and bucket so easy to wash muddy paws and boots in the yard outside. Stone floors in dog access areas also ideal after long cross country walks. Large conservatory with access to enclosed garden so perfect to relax. Beds comfortable and shower excellent( there must be some way to install one in the huge upstairs bathroom?) As reported before there is no Wi Fi( and the owners tried so hard to help us with this) but, after a twitchy hour or two, we all found it strangely relaxing to stow away our machines!Although, what better excuse for a visit to one of the excellent pubs within easy driving distance. We all loved our time with Roz and her family and meeting all the friendly locals whilst out and about. Will certainly return and recommend.

Really enjoyed our week. Lovely place to stay and central for places to visit. New larger tv, but no DVD player at the moment.

the house was spotlessly clean and suited us well especially the ground floor bedroom for our mum. we were pleased to see a lot of cooking trays , casserole dishes and pans as we do our own catering mostly, the only drawback was that there were only cereal bowls - nothing large enough to hold a stew or casserole. if we visit the area again we would definitely go there again and recommend to friends

Lovely place to stay, but very few pubs in town serving food at Easter and not until the last few days did we find where the supermarkets were locally and a long way for a morning paper at the nearest garage.

Lovely cottage with tons of space but cosy feel. Lovely to be around horses, sheep and chickens, child and dog friendly. Downstairs bedroom, shower and 2 toilets were perfect for my disabled husband.

Overall a cosy, clean cottage with comfortable and big bedrooms. Main bathroom needs a shower and doors need locks! Lounge needs a bigger and louder TV for 7 people to all watch together and the DVD is broken. No Wi-Fi, which is almost unheard of these days in holiday places. Fridge is too small for enough food and drink for 7 people, especially over the Christmas weekend - we used the conservatory as a "cold room", but this wouldn't work in warmer months and meant there was no extra room to use. Another useful TV would be good (the one in the master bedroom only received one channel!).
