Very quiet, rural location, but no local shop or pub! A washing line outside would have been useful to hang beach towels. Main bedroom felt a bit damp and smelt a bit musty. Good facilities and equipment in kitchen, comfortable lounge with good wifi.

Our stay at Hendra cottage was lovely. We were very impressed with the size of the cottage and had all the things we needed. Great location ,central to the majority of places nearby. It was lovely and quiet and had a homely feel. The only downside for us was the grounds the cottage was on had a vast grass area which our 2 yr old wanted to play on unfortunately was covered in dog poo. Probably not the cottage owners fault but maybe previous guests with dogs?? But other then that we would highly recommend.

The cottage was very clean and we'll equipped. The shower was disappointing and most of the time the water in the shower was barely warm enough and on one morning it was cold. The instructions to get to the cottage could be improved. You needed to know that you should turn into the farm.

The cottage was in a very nice location although no sign where exactly to go. The cleaners had done a poor job. We were treading on broken glass and found a glass hidden outside but not swept up indoors. In the twin bedroom it smelt very damp and we found a wet mop in the cupboard which we put outside. Very comfortable bed but couldn't get on with pillows and duvet which can only be described as hospital linen! Overall though not a bad base for a holiday.
