Second stay at Heights Barn and as enjoyable as the first time. Location unbeatable for views and solitude, an ideal escape. Perfectly situated for visiting Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria and in our case even Staffordshire!

We loved our recent stay at Heights Barn. It was cosy and warm and extremely well equipped. We valued the secluded location and peacefulness.

The problem with giving great reviews is that everyone will want to go and that makes it harder for us to get another booking when we want to return ! ! It's a fantastic place to relax and get away from everyday stresses and strains. There is everthing in the cottage that you could want and I reall do recommend it to family and friends.

Heights Barn is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. The cottage is nowhere near any other properties which was a big plus for us as we like total peace and quiet at our cottages. The cottage was spacious, clean and well appointed. The view from the cottage terrace is quite special. Although the cottage itself sits in perfect isolation and very peaceful, the main road is just over a mile away and all tourist centres can be easily reached quickly. Skipton is about 9 miles away and is a delight to visit with its market, independent shops and canal quarter. the owner was very friendly and left us a bottle of wine for our arrival. We would definitely return to Heights Barn.

Lovely and cosy cottage in a quiet and peaceful location but not too far from Skipton for shopping and eating out. Very well equipped with all amenities and a very friendly welcome from the owner with a welcome pack of wine, milk and chocolate, which was a nice touch. Had booked for an Anniversary weekend and had a very relaxing time. All in all, a very special property that we can highly recommend for a countryside break.
