From a touch of luxury to characterful heritage, experience one of our truly inspiring holiday properties.

A unique property right on the waters edge with generously proportioned rooms - a great choice for large gatherings.

Enjoying a beautiful waterfront location, these three holiday properties (refs CBBH, CBBJ and CYY) have their own private mooring and superb views over the River Thurne and a National Trust wildlife reserve (which featured in the BBC1 TV series Secret Britain). Ferry View, standing detached, and Heigham View, one of a pair, offer spacious accommodation for larger groups and have a first floor balcony where guests can take in the abundant birdlife. They each have a games room with full size snooker and table tennis tables; Heigham View additionally has the benefit of a second sitting room/games room with 65in 3D TV with blue-ray/DVD and surround sound. Ferry Cottage is a detached, two-bedroomed property with rooms all on the ground floor. All offer the very best in waterside living. For the fisherman, this part of the Broads offers some of the best coarse fishing anywhere in the UK (fishing licence required). For the nature enthusiast, everything is on the doorstep - walking and cycling can be enjoyed along a network of quiet lanes and the river and the Broads can be explored by boat, which can be hired directly from the owner. Winterton-on-Sea is a short drive away with its wonderful sandy beach and dunes. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the north beach is home to a colony of grey seals.
The BeWILDerwood Outdoor Adventure Park at Horning offers treehouses, zip wires, jungle bridges and more - all adding up to a great day out for children. The fine city of Norwich with its cathedrals, castle, museums, theatre and vast array of cafes and shops is half an hour away. There is a wealth of National Trust properties to visit in the area, which include Felbrigg Hall, Garden and Park (one of the finest Jacobean houses in East Anglia), the beautifully landscaped Sheringham Park and the magnificent Blickling Hall with its woodland and lakeside walks. Horsey Wind Pump is only 3 miles away (and a good destination for a boat trip).
For a special meal or family celebration a gourmet meal can be arranged with the owner. There are shops and pubs in the village 1 mile away.

An amazing house for our large family group celebration. Lots of space for relaxing, eating and having fun. Great that every bedroom had en- suite. The views from the dining area and balcony were wonderful. Very relaxing, lots to do even when the weather was rainy.

What a great house and in an idyllic location, it was big enough for all our party with different rooms for us all to enjoy with the pool table and large TV being very popular with the children. it had plenty of space and seating for us all and we all had our own rooms with bathrooms. Only downside was the level of cleanliness which was annoying we found dirty crockery put away in the cupboard so it all had to be washed before use. There were several used party poppers under the sofas in the main lounge and all the windows were grubby with hand prints all over them . Then one off the children spilt something on the sofa and when we wiped it a large amount off dirt came off it and one off the children found crumbs and bits down the cushion off the sofa so had to hoover them. Apart from that we loved the place and will return hopefully when it's warmer.

An excellent place for a big get together. Bedrooms all with ensuites where ideal. The open plan downstairs was superb for the party atmosphere. The only issue was that the house was too warm and we couldn't turn the heating down.

Stayed at Heigham View with friends to celebrate a significant birthday. The location was beautiful alongside the river. It was close enough to drive to all locations. The cottage itself is set over 3 floors with every amenity provided. Each bedroom was spacious and en-suite plus an extra bathroom on the main floor. Large lounge dining area with additional games room with tv and table tennis. Downstairs was a utility room and full size snooker table. Our party had a fabulous stay and we would recommend the property without hesitation.
