Lovely old cottage full of character and personality of the owners. Well equipped with thoughtful treats left to welcome us. Good instructions strategically left where to find things or how to work something. Big garden and veranda to sit outside.

Just returned from a lovely week away at Hedgehog Cottage. Lovely welcome on arrival from Pete and Jill who provided a welcome pack which was a really nice touch. Hedgehog cottage is lovely wee chill out hideaway with great wee quirky decorative touches like fairy lights on the outside decking area. While hedgehog cottage is set in lovely peaceful rural surroundings, Lytham, St Annes are beautiful and only a hop skip and a jump away and the classic old seaside town of Blackpool is also a fun day out, with the pleasure beach for those who are not faint hearted. Would recommend Hedgehog Cottage to friends and family and hope to return on day. Best wishes Kevin and Lorraine x

The owners gave us a very friendly reception on arrival. Our first impression of the cottage was 'what have we come to' but the quirkiness gradually wins you over so much so that by the time our holiday had ended we were sorry to leave. The lounge is very comfortable with ample seating with three large settees. The only thing that we couldn't get used to was the log burner which was the main source of heating. The double bed was very comfortable. The cottage is located at the end of a lane and is very peaceful. If you want to get your blood pressure down then stay at Hedgehog Cottage.

The cottage has most things you would need and is located down the lane.It can be a problem turning right out of lane at busy times.Local pubs ok and Blackpool not far away.St Annes is also very handy.Sitting outside was very nice as we had good weather and garden very large and spacious.Very quiet at most times though we had some building noise from the new house next door, but that will be short lived as it will be soon complete.Had a chat with the owner who came over as very friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at Hedgehog cottage. Myself and my daughters (aged 12) loved the lovely peaceful location and amazing views. So relaxing. We saw robins and lots of wild birds in the garden. A perfect cosy Christmas location. Lots of games for the evenings in and a warming coal fire. Near to Lytham and Blackpool and the surrounding countryside.

Lovely little cottage, garden perfect for families. Some very cold weather whilst I was there so whilst the wood burner is great it would be better to have some backup central heating system, the radiators are already in place probably from a previous system? Location cannot be beaten for Lytham and St Annes and of course Blackpool, anyone who does not know the area would be spoilt for choice for outings. Local horse riding school for one off lessons for those interested in something different.
