This house was ideal for us and we would certainly stay again. The house is very spacious and tastefully furnished throughout in keeping with the age and style of property. The bedrooms are a very good size. There are lovely walks from the door, up the lanes and directly into the Quantocks. We went in the winter, but in the summer the house is within easy driving distance of the coast and further walks and beaches. We met the owners who are co-located. They are very nice and helpful - but also left us to ourselves as much as we wanted.

Hearn Lodge is a superb cottage in a very beautiful area. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions about the cottage itself or the surrounding areas. The cottage is wonderfully equipped with appliances and equipment of the highest quality and it was scrupulously clean when we arrived for our holiday. There were six of us sharing the cottage but we never felt that we were on top of each other as the cottage is so spacious and all the rooms are very large. I fell in love with the garden immediately! It is simply wonderful! So much love, time and dedication by the owners have made it a little paradise! Thank you for letting us share your wonderful cottage and garden to make our holiday so memorable.

Lovely house and garden. Very comfortable and well equipped. Friendly but very discreet hosts. The only things which would have made our stay even more comfortable would have been a couple of throws or blankets - none were available. I would also have appreciated more information on the local area - leaflets provided were limited. A book for visitors to write information for future guests would also be a useful addition.

Really lovely, the most relaxing holiday for years, lovely hosts, if I'd have done a tesco shop beforehand local amenities wouldn't have been a problem. Can thoroughly recommend it, also well worth a visit is Dunster Castle and Micawber's restaurant (opposite Scotch woolshop) in Minehead.

We're a group of 3 friends who booked Hearn Lodge for a long weekend. Fabulous place to relax, loads of space, lovely conservatory and beautiful setting. We took full advantage of being able to walk to the Blue Ball pub for beer and supper! Great walking from the door and loved the cliff top walks from Kilve. The lodge was well equipped (although when we come next time, we must remember to bring soap and dishcloth...) with great character and comfort.

We spent a very pleasant week at Hearn Lodge. The location is just what we like - rural and quiet with good walking from Hearn Lodge and in the nearby Quantocks and Exmoor. Hearn Lodge is roomy and is attractively and comfortably decorated. The kitchen was recently redecorated and is very well equipped. We were pleased that there is a separate washer and dryer that both work very well. The shower was great in the family bathroom with a shower stall. We enjoyed having breakfast in the conservatory that overlooked the large well-cared for grounds with an apple tunnel that was in bloom while we were there. The owner was nice and helpful. Although their house is attached to Hearn Lodge, the configuration means that Hearn Lodge has privacy. We would certainly stay in Hearn Lodge again.
