Fabulous little cottage - really cosy and comfortable. Well equipped, super comfy bed (although only a double rather than king), lovely friendly and helpful owners who were on call but totally left us alone. Electricity provided lasted for ages. Amazing views and peace and quiet. Would love to come back and appreciate this lovely little cottage in the summer. Only slight drawback (for me) was it's distance from any shops/pub but this is a purely personal opinion - large Tesco, Llangollen etc all easy drives away and CAMRA winning pub in nearby village.

We were very lucky with the weather which was great for the week we stayed, the cottage is fantastic and the hosts very friendly and helpful. There is a Tesco very close that is open from 0600 to 2400 so never a problem with things you may have forgotten. The location is good for everything we wanted to do, the national Park is within driving distance for a day out but a bit too far for regular visits, but there is plenty to do around the area. One of our best days was a visit to Churk Castle only five minutes away; the gardens are beautiful but obviously better on a nice day. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a good wind down break, sitting on the patio in the evening’s with a glass of wine watching the rooks flying in over the cornfield to roost in the trees surrounding you. Bliss!
