A luxury two bedroom, two bathroom, third floor apartment, located directly on Poole Quay. It comes with its own undercover parking space and there are lifts throughout the building. The apartment has everything you would need to enjoy a holiday as it is fully equipped to a very good standard. The building also features a concierge service at reception.
Poole Quay is an exciting blend of maritime activity and a focal point for a wide range of entertainment and leisure pursuits. Pleasure craft offer trips direct from the quay to Brownsea Island, Sandbanks and beyond, whilst anglers can book fishing trips at the fisherman’s quay.
If you simply want to promenade along the waterfront, past the visitors’ marina and have a meal and a drink, then the quayside and old town areas are packed with excellent restaurants, pubs and wine bars.
From the quay, shoppers can stroll up the pedestrianised high street, with its wide range of retail outlets and facilities. Award-winning beaches at Bournemouth, Branksome and Alum Chines are just 15 minutes away by car, and for a alternative days out, the natural beauty of the New Forest is approximately 30 minutes away, and walks in the National Trust protected Purbeck Hills can be enjoyed nearby. A short trip on the Sandbanks chain ferry offers the option of even more beautiful beaches skirted by sand dunes. Shop, pub, restaurant and beach 250 yards.

    Thought we would have a view of the harbour, instead a view of an old industrial building, but the apartment was cosy and in a secure environment.

    The apartment is ideally located to take the advantages for the quayside with lots of eating establishments, shops and access to promenade walking. A very short walk to main high street, buses and trains. Although no harbour view, for the time of year great for a week's break from it all. However, our week break was shortened by 'beast from the East' as to get back home safely because of road conditions meant leaving after only 4 days. Nevermind these things happen. We throughly enjoyed our time spent there!

    Lovely apartment. Modern and bright. It was a bit of a trek to get to the reception area. But easy to get to the car park. If i came again i would like two keys and access cards as we dont always want to be together all the time.

A spare key is kept in the cutlery drawer, however very occasionally guests return both sets of keys to the mail box so it’s worth checking for two sets on arrival just in case. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

    Great place to stay as it is walking distance to many good eateries. Comfortable and well equipped unit, very much a home away from home, with excellent security. Nice and close to so many places to see along this beautiful coast. Would definitely return.

    We usually book country cottages, so this was the first time of having an apartment. Harbourside is in a very secure complex with concierge/security 24hrs a day. Its location is perfect for Poole quay, Poole park and boats to Brownsea, Wareham and Swanage. Plenty of cycle paths and a nice easy cycle to Sandbanks. Rail station and main town an easy walk. Tuesday night is Bike night so if you love motorbikes this is the place to be during the summer season. You will get some general noise from delivery lorries early morning around 7 ish, but this did not really bother us. This particular flat does not have a balcony or look over the harbourside, which we knew about before we booked. So if that's important to you then look elsewhere, there are plenty to rent in the block at a price! Good communication and instructions of how to access the flat sent by post before arrival.

    A very clean and well equipped apartment. Right on the Quayside although no sea view., this was not a real problem as it was only a walk cross the road.

    Good well equiped apartment,well positioned on the quay, plenty of places to eat out in walking distance from apartment but would have liked an apartment overlooking the quay.this one does'nt advertise having sea view but when you see the view from others you would like that for yourself.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harbourside. A comfortable and well-appointed apartment in the centre of Poole. It was very handy for visiting the local area and the secure parking was a bonus. We had no problems with noise and we knew from the property information that we would not have a harbour view. On Thursday night we had an excellent view of the fireworks over Poole harbour from just outside the lobby of the apartments. We would certainly stay here again.

    Lovely Apartment. However what is not stated on the apartment details is that it is situated right above the Tesco loading bay for the Tesco Express which is directly underneath, so early wake up call every day at six am. Not what you want on your holidays. Another thing to say is don't go to the apartment in June as its nesting time for seagulls. This apartment that looks directly onto Poole Pottery roof, which was covered in seagulls and their young. The noise all night was unbearable. So much so that we came home a day early to get a decent nights sleep.

    Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for your feedback. As a family we use Harbourside from time to time and have not noticed the gulls or delivery in the way you describe. However we want our guests to enjoy their stay so following on from your feedback we have installed quiet running fans in the bedrooms so that light sleepers can keep the double glazed windows closed if necessary. The gulls are actually important to Poole as it is home to the UK's only pure breeding pair of Yellow legged Gulls aswell as a nationally important Black Headed and Mediterranean Gull colony. Sea birds are abundant around Poole Harbour (it featured on the BBC s Autumnwatch programme in October 2016 as a result) and with the apartment's very close proximity to the sea there is a good chance that sea birds will be seen and heard. We very much regret that this and the delivery of supplies to the convenience store was a problem on this occasion.
