This modern villa enjoys a beachside location, wonderful views, and a large garden with barbecue, ideal for families and friends.

This detached villa is set in a spectacular beachside location in Maidens village, with uninterrupted views over the harbour and towards the Firth of Clyde and the Isle of Arran. Maidens is a small village situated around the shores of Maidenhead Bay on the picturesque Clyde coast, and the village offers a range of amenities including a shop, post office, very popular restaurant, hotel and harbour.
This corner of South West Ayrshire is renowned for its unspoilt scenery and particularly mild climate throughout the year. The area is the perfect holiday spot for the outdoor enthusiast. There are excellent golf courses: the world famous Turnberry is only a mile from Maidens and there are also 18-hole golf courses nearby. There are the usual field sports, excellent rivers for fishing and superb routes for walking.
Ayrshire offers a varying coastline with villages, beaches and rocky coves to explore. Inland there is walking, gardens and castles to visit, riding, racing and a choice of golf courses. Culzean Castle (owned by the National Trust for Scotland) is spectacular and is Ayrshire’s most popular tourist attraction. Remodelled by the Scottish architect Robert Adam, it houses a small exhibition displaying President Eisenhower’s military civilian and military career and his association with Culzean. The surrounding country park (extending over 550 acres) has a network of wooded trails passing along the beach. Craft shows, country dancing and walks spotting fungi are attractions hosted during the year. Day trips to Ireland can be taken from Stranraer, whilst a drive north leads to Ayr (14 miles), a traditional seaside town. Glasgow/Prestwick airport is 20 miles. Shop 300 yards, pub 2 miles, restaurant 100 yards, bar 1 mile.

The holiday home was in a lovely location and it felt like a home from home. The kitchen and garden were especially great. It had lots of equipment available there. On the other hand the floorboards were very creaky, the recycling bins were not labelled well and on the whole the house was overpriced, over £1500 per week, in August though. We would stay there again but choose a time when the house is not as expensive.

We've just had 5 days at Harbour View and had a lovely time. It's a really nice place to stay as a family with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it. Thanks for the next door neighbour for putting our shopping away when it was delivered early😊

Harbour view was a wonderful place to 'get away from it all' and spend valued time with family at New Year. We loved the house and the coastline, despite Storm Frank passing by.

Lovely house and location but the bedrooms had limited storage (little or no drawer storage) especially if you were staying for a week.

Great house, each room is fantastic, spacious and warm. Lovely enclosed garden for children and for having BBQ's. Local area is super, lots of National Trust properties, golf courses, fabulous walks by the sea. Local shop and there is a supermarket a few miles away.
