This modern villa enjoys a beachside location, wonderful views, and a large garden with barbecue, ideal for families and friends.

This detached villa is set in a spectacular beachside location in Maidens village, with uninterrupted views over the harbour and towards the Firth of Clyde and the Isle of Arran. Maidens is a small village situated around the shores of Maidenhead Bay on the picturesque Clyde coast, and the village offers a range of amenities including a shop, post office, very popular restaurant, hotel and harbour.
This corner of South West Ayrshire is renowned for its unspoilt scenery and particularly mild climate throughout the year. The area is the perfect holiday spot for the outdoor enthusiast. There are excellent golf courses: the world famous Turnberry is only a mile from Maidens and there are also 18-hole golf courses nearby. There are the usual field sports, excellent rivers for fishing and superb routes for walking.
Ayrshire offers a varying coastline with villages, beaches and rocky coves to explore. Inland there is walking, gardens and castles to visit, riding, racing and a choice of golf courses. Culzean Castle (owned by the National Trust for Scotland) is spectacular and is Ayrshire’s most popular tourist attraction. Remodelled by the Scottish architect Robert Adam, it houses a small exhibition displaying President Eisenhower’s military civilian and military career and his association with Culzean. The surrounding country park (extending over 550 acres) has a network of wooded trails passing along the beach. Craft shows, country dancing and walks spotting fungi are attractions hosted during the year. Day trips to Ireland can be taken from Stranraer, whilst a drive north leads to Ayr (14 miles), a traditional seaside town. Glasgow/Prestwick airport is 20 miles. Shop 300 yards, pub 2 miles, restaurant 100 yards, bar 1 mile.

Great house, each room is fantastic, spacious and warm. Lovely enclosed garden for children and for having BBQ's. Local area is super, lots of National Trust properties, golf courses, fabulous walks by the sea. Local shop and there is a supermarket a few miles away.

Beautiful, well equipped house. Good location and base for exploring local area and further afield (Glasgow is just over an hour's drive). Useful to have shop/post office/ cafe close by where locals were friendly and helpful. Secure garden for children with swing and other toys which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if holidaying in the same area.

Harbour View ticked all the boxes for us...a family with a toddler and a baby and other adult relatives over the Christmas period. The owners had gone the extra mile to decorate it for Christmas and had even put Chrismas sacks out for the children. It made it so special for us. Our only concern was that the wooden floors make quite a lot of noise and possibly need some work on them to make them quieter and we did find some items, owned by previous residents, under the beds when we cleared up for departure which would suggest that the area under the beds had not been cleaned. We loved the house and its amenities and would most certainly return!
