despite a big heating problem (oil tank was empty...and was refilled after 3 days, while temperatures were around 5/6°c during the day, and minus1/2°c at night) )the cottage is really well equipped, pleasant to live in, and benefit of an ideal situation just in front of the little harbour .....a place where we 'd like to come back...

There was only one double bed which we did know about but if we stayed in the area again we would look for accommodation that had double beds in most rooms. It would have been good to have someone to welcom us and show us around the house rather than arriving to an open house. Having said that we did enjoy our stay.

Have now have had 3 holidays at Harbour View so we obviously like it! The location is wonderful, yards from the shore line with spectacular views westwards, across Dornoch Firth. Recent upgrades such as shower, wifi and huge double bed enhance the experience.

We enjoyed our stay very much indeed, the cottage is wonderful, very clean, very friendly owner and outstanding view of the sea and harbour. Lovely having wi-fi for keeping up with home etc., Lovely area to check out too. Hoping to return next year.

We have stayed at this cottage several times as we visit friends and family in the district. repeatedly we have complained (as have others that the T. V. is too small. The owners are of the opinion that this doesn't matter and we should be out all the time. My Aunt is 86. the weather was cold and wet. the lighting in the lounge is not good enough to read. Some of the mattresses on the bunk beds need replacing being full of springs. also the curtains are not ideal for the Summer as they do not keep out the light
