Shop, pub and restaurant, 4 miles.

We found Hannah's Cottage a comfortable, convenient base from which to explore the local area. With two teenagers and a lively dog, we were looking for practicality rather than atmosphere and this was ideal for us. The cottage is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped, particularly the kitchen; and laundry and drying facilities were much appreciated. Fresh flowers on the window ledges were a nice touch and we loved the pancakes Hannah kindly brought round.

The cottage is in a lovely quiet location with views over Loch Ewe to distant hills. Hannah was very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.

Excellent holiday cottage. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need to make it an enjoyable stay. Good location to explore the west coast but quite isolated so a car is essential. Ten minute drive to nearest shop which stocks most items. Nearest restaurant is the Poolewe hotel which serves good meals at reasonable price. Hannah is an excellent host and keen to ensure you have a good stay. Would definitely stay again.

Had a fantastic 2 weeks in Hannah's Cottage. On arrival the cottage was beautifully clean and well presented with plenty of room for us and our two dogs. The fresh flowers and having the fire lit on our arrival was a wonderful touch as it made the cottage warm and welcoming after a long drive. The cottage is very well appointed and we never found ourselves wanting for anything equipment wise. As far as the location is concerned we could not have been better placed for exploring Wester Ross with plenty of places for walking and cycling right from the doorstep. Wester Ross is, in my opinion, probably the most beautiful area in the UK with quiet roads and stunning views around every corner. The cottage is nicely situated near Gairloch which has a good selection of local shops to choose from for day to day bits and pieces and the butchers stocks a wide range of fresh fruit and veg as well as the usual meats. The owners live locally and are extremely kind and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. Being shown where everything is in the property certainly helped us settle in. This is a lovely little cottage in a wonderful location - we were very sorry to leave at the end of our two weeks. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.
