The cottage is in a lovely location, but that is it's best quality. An expensive property for what you get! It is described as modern and contemporary and it is far from! The bathroom was not clean on arrival and the bathmat looked like it had been chewed by a dog! It was replaced by the owner with an old weaved rug! This was only one of the many things that made us unhappy with the property. We would not stay here again and have received money back from Cottages for You as we had so many issues with the property! The property is also very small you can't have 6 people stay there! Light bulbs weren't working, the whole cottage needs a big modernisation!

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. The property is always thoroughly cleaned and an odd wood louse in the bath cannot be foreseen. One light bulb had gone and was replaced and I’m sorry these guests didn't find the switch to the other light they believed was not working. Unfortunately previous guests had used bleach near or on the bath mat, which became discoloured after washing and this was replaced with a quality rug being the only one to hand. Owners are not required to supply bath mats but this is something I will consider for the future. This is rated a three star or equivalent property and is priced as such. It is decorated and furnished in a contemporary style to suit a 1950s Bungalow. Everyone has a different perspective of a property and the main needs for a comfortable holiday accommodation will not suit all tastes.

The property was very dated however it was clean, comfortable but most importantly cosy and warm, which was much appreciated as the weather was not great. The beds appeared hard on arrival but were actually surprisingly comfortable and the bungalow was equipped well for our needs during our stay. The location was idealic with so much to see and do on the doorstep that we simply did not stay long enough to visit everywhere we'd have liked. We would definitely visit again one day

This Bungalow needs to be sorted, there are no mattresses on the single beds only mattress toppers, very uncomfortable, the heating is hot all the time, not good in the summer or autumn, there was a large crack at the bottom of the toilet bowl, Although the chairs were in good order, the seat cushions kept sliding off them, they need some velcro strips to keep them on, the sofa was no better, All this ruined our holiday, we needed to rest when we got home.
