We really enjoyed our stay. Not far from the shops or pub. Nice surroundings. Would definitely go again.

Excellent, cosy little detached cottage in grounds of a larger property. The cottage was very clean, lovely and warm with a flexible electric system (ie not storage heaters!) and a water heating system that was truly hotter than a hot thing. The cottage description was accurate and the owners had provided information about both the cottage and things to do in the area. If there was one thing I would change it would be to bin-off the indoor TV aerial and go for an outdoor one; even though the transmitter is only 5 miles away it needs all the help it can get. A very good cottage.

No views from cottage but very close to coast path with excellent views on a clear day. Good 'days out' can be had to Plas Newydd and Penrhyn (both NT), and Beaumaris is nice. Cottage is easy to find with good parking and in a quiet but convenient location. Cottage itself is fine apart from the desperately uncomfortable folding dining chairs, and water flow was unsatisfactory.

Hot water pressure was poor in bath and kitchen sink.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. A new pressurised hot water system has been fitted and the hot water is now at or nearly at the same pressure as the cold water.

Good location and well equipped. Hot water pressure in kitchen and bath too low. Best to use shower or bathroom sink where pressure is ok.

Very clean and comfortable. Private back garden. Ideal for getting to coastal path and beaches. Only complaint was wi-fi which is based in neighbouring house, so no reception in one half of cottage and v poor in the other!

The Annexe looks like it has been created by extending the garage of the house. The Lounge window looks out onto the outside area used by the House so children playing outside can be noisy and can look in as they wish. WIFI was intermittent which was OK for me. There are no views of the sea or hills from the Annexe. It is very expensive for what you get in my opinion. We will not be returning to Halcyon Annexe.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the Owner; It is disappointing to hear that Halcyon Annexe did not meet your expectations as this is contrary to the many positive comments found in the comments book within the Annexe and on Reevoo. However we are always open to suggestions. The Annexe lounge has two windows; one looks out over a flagged patio area and the house garden beyond (as can be seen in the photo). The other looks out onto the Annexes own private garden. The house has its own flagged patio area. There is no detailed hill or sea views within the properties description on the cottages 4 you website, although we are only a short walk to Moelfres lovely bay and coastal views. All the pricing is set by Cottages 4 You. We are always open to constructive criticism to continually improve our service to our guests.
