A fabulous base for exploring Anglesey. Peaceful and away from it all but within easy reach of places by car. Great place if you like cycling - we had some lovely bike rides. Adrian very friendly and helpful. Would love to go back.

Excellent cottage for a great escape from the day to day world. Very good owner next door that leaves you to your holiday but is there if you need anything. The cottage is in great condition and has everything required for a get away holiday perfectly located in the center of Anglesey. On a working farm but not a busy farm so no problem during summer. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We had a lovely week, accomodation was great, very remote, but nice and peaceful, only negative was we actually had no towels, had to go out and buy our own and when the rest of our family came to stay, they had to bring their own, also there was no visitor book for comments, but we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. We would recommend anyone to stay for a holiday

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for booking. As regards towels, when you book there is an option to hire towels. As regards the visitor’s book, there is always one in the drawer in the kitchen.

Had a lovely time at the cottage, was just what we wanted, all on the same level, very quiet and peaceful. Is a good base to explore Angelsey and surrounding areas. Adrian was really helpful and friendly and kept us topped up with wood for the burner. Cottage had everything you need for self catering holiday and was very comfortable. We would stay there again as our group was well impressed.

We had a very enjoyable week. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5, a great base for exploring Anglesey. The neighbours were very friendly and knowledgeable and especially kind when we left our son's glasses behind they returned them most efficiently. We would recommend this cottage and would visit again.

It was dirty equipment was broke, no welcome pack explaining how to use anything. Not enough wood for the log burner it was over christmas so we found it difficult to replace. On arrival it was freezing and we had to go and buy extra clothing all in all unimpressed!! The neighbour kept parking his car outside my bedroom and kept walking past!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We were disappointed to read your review following your recent stay at Hafod Cottage. Our neighbours do respect our guest’s privacy and try to be as unobtrusive as possible – the neighbour does not park their vehicle outside our property and most certainly would not have passed the bedroom window. The property is centrally heated therefore we cannot understand why it felt cold on your arrival. We have not received a complaint of this nature previously and the majority of our guests comment on how comfortable their stay was in the Cottage, with many planning return visits.

Very comfortable and centrally situated cottage. Very easy to find. Accommodation was ideal for our extended family, particularly with two shower units and one bathroom. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to have the opportunity to stay there in the future.
