A lovely cottage in a perfectly quiet and remote location, perfect for just relaxing or venturing out dog walking in the picturesque scenery over looking Tregaron. Chris and Monica were just the perfect hosts who answered all our questions and gave lots of advice on where to go and what to see. This is our second visit and we will stay here again in the near future.

Our Dog loved it, the freedom of the horse paddocks/three fields to play in & we too enjoyed our stay. These fields & the stables do have the potential to be used during your stay so we we're lucky it was all empty, its a perfect place to holiday with your horse. Lovely location. The only small improvements to the property we would suggest for other holidaymakers:- The description states enclosed garden & the garden is enclosed but there is no garden as such or grass / lawn area for "humans" to lie on or stretch out on in the sunshine. The sitting room furniture could do with being replaced/refreshed as its a little tired. Also the house is currently being split into two properties so we would probably not stay again if the property is no longer private i.e:- for our sole use.

    Response from: administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. Despite several attempts to meet up during your stay sadly we failed. Otherwise we would have explained that the house is not being split into two properties. Rather, the old cowshed attached to the property is being converted to provide extra living space and comfort for our guests. Not in a thousand years would we dream of letting the house as two separate properties. Whilst there is a patio with garden furniture overlooking the views, being 1000' up in the Cambrian Mountains we have so far had few requests for tailored lawns to stretch out on. But thank you for your suggestion. We will ponder and see what we can do.

We have had a wonderful week, the weather was good, great walks in beautiful countryside with superb views. The cottage is cosy, clean, well equipped, very comfortable and set in a marvellous, peaceful location. We were made to feel very welcome. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anybody and would love to return in the future.
