This is the third time we have stayed at Gwndwn Melyn and we were impressed with the cottage and surroundings once again. It is situated along a single track road at approx. 1100 feet, the nearest neighbours are approx. 1/4 mile away so it is wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The cottage is very roomy and practical, and had everything we needed for our stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, some butter, milk, Welsh cakes etc. Thank you to Monica and Chris for the loan of your lovely cottage again.

A spacious well equipped, clean and tidy cottage, situated on a mountain road for perfect peace and quiet with stunning views. Nothing is too much trouble for Chris and Monica the owners who are welcoming and very helpful. Our large dog Zephy (German Shepherd) loved the space and freedom and made two new horsey friends. We enjoyed the location very much one of our best holidays. Highly recommend a holiday here. Plenty to do in the local area. Plenty of local mountain walks right on your doorstep. Loved watching the Kites soaring high in the sky. Wish I was still there now.

We were 4 adults and 3 dogs and had plenty of room and comfort for all, the outside private space was great for the dogs and plenty of great walks from the house. The weather could have been kinder but didn't spoil things. The outside space for us was a bit shabby and unloved and could do with some bushes and trees cutting back to allow sight of the beautiful views and the toilet/shower room upstairs was a challenge (a bit on the small side). Overall we loved it.
