We were 4 adults and 3 dogs and had plenty of room and comfort for all, the outside private space was great for the dogs and plenty of great walks from the house. The weather could have been kinder but didn't spoil things. The outside space for us was a bit shabby and unloved and could do with some bushes and trees cutting back to allow sight of the beautiful views and the toilet/shower room upstairs was a challenge (a bit on the small side). Overall we loved it.

We recently had a wonderful holiday with our dogs. It's a well equipped cottage, cosy & peaceful with nothing but gorgeous countryside to look at. The owners are very helpful & keen to ensure you have everything you need for a great break away. We'll certainly be heading back there 😃

A lovely cottage in a perfectly quiet and remote location, perfect for just relaxing or venturing out dog walking in the picturesque scenery over looking Tregaron. Chris and Monica were just the perfect hosts who answered all our questions and gave lots of advice on where to go and what to see. This is our second visit and we will stay here again in the near future.

Our Dog loved it, the freedom of the horse paddocks/three fields to play in & we too enjoyed our stay. These fields & the stables do have the potential to be used during your stay so we we're lucky it was all empty, its a perfect place to holiday with your horse. Lovely location. The only small improvements to the property we would suggest for other holidaymakers:- The description states enclosed garden & the garden is enclosed but there is no garden as such or grass / lawn area for "humans" to lie on or stretch out on in the sunshine. The sitting room furniture could do with being replaced/refreshed as its a little tired. Also the house is currently being split into two properties so we would probably not stay again if the property is no longer private i.e:- for our sole use.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. Despite several attempts to meet up during your stay sadly we failed. Otherwise we would have explained that the house is not being split into two properties. Rather, the old cowshed attached to the property is being converted to provide extra living space and comfort for our guests. Not in a thousand years would we dream of letting the house as two separate properties. Whilst there is a patio with garden furniture overlooking the views, being 1000' up in the Cambrian Mountains we have so far had few requests for tailored lawns to stretch out on. But thank you for your suggestion. We will ponder and see what we can do.

Lovely, quiet retreat. The cottage is well equipped for everything you need to holiday in Wales - come sun; rain or shine! The grounds are teaming with wildlife, the accommodation is fantastic for dog owners (perhaps one of the best examples of a holiday home we've stayed in). The owners, Chris and Monica are wonderfully kind and welcoming people who above all want you to have a really good stay. We came away from our summer break feeling like we had a proper holiday. Thank you Chris and Monica - we'll definitely see you again.
