Local amenities I have marked down because it is situated in a small hamlet, having said that it is well situated for exploring Cornwell; which we did. The cottage it's self is lovely and well looked after by the friendly owners . We can highly recommend a stay, I think many people will be repeat visitors

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Gum Tree View. The property is equipped to the highest standard and Annie and John are to be commended on their attention to detail. We hope to return to this cottage.

John and Annie were very welcoming and showed us round everything when we arrived. A healthy welcome pack was also waiting for us as was shampoo, toothpaste and even toothbrushes (plus lots of other little extras too!) The property itself was amazing and so big the open plan really works and the place has an airy feel about. John (who built the property) has done so to a very high standard and the inside is immaculate. The area is so quiet and remote with the wildlife around being the only noise. I would highly recommend this for couples and it will be top of our list of cottages when we return to Cornwall.

After staying in Cornwall for over 25 years, this is the best cottage we have stayed in. John & Annie were extremely welcoming & suggested places to visit. The welcome pack was amazing. The cottage itself was light, spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything was provided. The location is ideal for visiting many places & is very peaceful & relaxing, we loved coming back after a day out. A great week, even with mixed weather. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

This is a stunning holiday cottage. We have stayed 2 years running and it was as good the second time around. Everything you need and more is there. With a very warm welcome from the hosts John and Annie, you feel at home straightaway. Would have no hesitation in going back, truly great!

This is one of the best cottages that we have ever stayed in, clean and comfortable and a lovely welcome food hamper. The location of the property is great with lots of great beaches within 20-30 minutes.

We had a fabulous week. The cottage was just perfect for us, really well appointed, we needed nothing extra. Annie and John have thought of everything and our welcome was superb. Close to the coast, we cycled, walked ate and drank and what's more the weather was very kind to us. Plenty of good food pubs close by, although we only ate out once, because we just loved going back 'home' after our day out. We've already booked again for next year!
