This renovated barn is perfectly located on the edge of the Cotswolds and close to major attractions such as Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Silverstone, the Royal Agricultural Showground and the NEC. It is easily accessed from both the north and south, being just 10 minutes from junctions 11 & 12 of the M40. The conversion fronts a courtyard of historic farm buildings in a secluded, tranquil setting adjoining the village green and overlooking pasture and woodland. Warmington is a hidden treasure, with its stone and thatch cottages, duck pond, traditional pub and Norman church. It sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty under historic Edge Hill, and thus provides many local walks with a choice of villages to explore.

There are several National Trust properties within striking distance, and locally there are numerous recreational opportunities including riding, golf and fishing. Nearby Banbury offers comprehensive leisure and shopping facilities, twice-weekly markets, and of course a Fine Lady on a White Horse! Good farm shop within half a mile, a choice of seven restaurants within 3 miles, and if you want to stay in to keep in touch with family and friends via social media, there’s fibre broadband!

The holiday cottages (refs NQ6 and NQ7) can be booked separately or together to accommodate up to 13 guests, providing flexible accommodation for gatherings and reunions.

    Good overall with nice quiet location and warm, comfortable interior. Only negative is that WiFi signal is very weak so suggest installing a booster as you struggle to load web pages downstairs!

    Sofa’s very uncomfortable and in need of a clean! Beds and bedrooms where clean but there was no mention that the 2 single bedrooms where for children! Also there was no mention that daytime heating had to be paid for, but didn’t work the rest of the time anyway! I did ask the owner about the heating but was told that it wasn’t cold enough in the cottage, although the thermometer said 16 and the heating was set at 20 so should have come on. In the end we ended up buying a fan heater! The kitchen sink and worktops had to be cleaned and most of the mugs where chipped!
