Greyrick House is very comfortable and perfectly placed to explore the Cotswolds. The beds were a bit soft but otherwise I can't fault it as a great place to stay.

Loved the house. So quirky , with so much history . Very comfortable. Great position and quiet for sleeping. Minor issue that sealant in shower and by bathroom sink needs renewing as it has gone black and is initially offputting. Will recommend house to friends.

If you want a taste of typical village life in a quiet location then this is the cottage for you! A lot less busy than the 'popular' Cotswold villages, but within easy reach. Two great pubs, post office and village store. Brand new play park with space for a game of rounders. Villagers all very friendly. The house itself: +'ve - very spacious, plenty of seating in lounge, bedrooms a good size with plenty of storage, beds extremely comfortable and clean, towels included - always a bonus, plenty of books and games for those wet days, back yard relatively private and a real sun trap (although outside table was falling to bits), kitchen pretty well equipped although you will need dishwasher salt and tablets as none provided. -'ve - a little dated - granted this is an old cottage, but could do with a little tlc to make it look cared for! Definitely not a place for the less able or the very tall!! Stairs very steep with low beam at the bottom and into the master bedroom. A few bumped heads despite the signs! Overall, our family of four would return.

I would describe the cottage as OK. Yes it is old but it is desperate to have a bit of money spent on it to brighten it up and make it a modern standard holiday cottage. Old cottages don't have to feel old. The kitchen is desperate for an upgrade. Great local pub, friendly and good food.

The details listed steep stairs - this is an understatement - very narrow treads - first carpeted stair appeared to have come away and this was reported but not repaired when we left. The entrance to the main bedroom is down a steep step onto a narrow small step. I feel a handrail is required here. Not a property for any disabled person. The main room was very large and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The large bathroom was great with a large shower. Local attraction was the Three Ways Hotel - home to the Pudding Club. Slightly expensive but after three visits in a week your knowledge of puddings and good food became increased. The Butcher's Arms a great pub atmosphere with good pub grub. The Kings Arms was full of antiques for sale, good specialized food and a comprehensive wine list. All within close walking distance. A very central point to explore the Cotswolds.

Excellent stay. Cottage was perfect in every way. Spotless, comfortable and had everything you may need. Great location, a fab base to explore the surrounding area, or even just to stay put. Local shops are great and the neighbours friendly. Can't recommend this cottage highly enough, will definitely be back.
