Only real criticism is that the living room area was not very warm in the evening. An open fire would have been great! Otherwise, a really great wee well located holiday cottage.

Location is ideal a very short walk.......60 yards? into the main castle square market area. One toilet was not working which was disappointing as it disrupted our sleeping arrangement. Seating in lounge more for show.....very uncomfortable if sitting for long periods like watching a film. Lovely shower, very steep stairs to top floor, beds short for anyone over 6 foot. Non stick frying pan needs replacing as its anything but. Lovely ambience, well presented character thing is the location although very hard to park and a long walk to car park in lower end of Co-op car park. Would stay there again.

Second stay in this well appointed cottage. Perfect for our Atumn long weekend break. Location spot on in the centre of town. Lucky with parking on the street for a couple of days and on the adjacent street's meters on the last night. Issue with top floor toilet which, despite an emergency plumber being called out, unfortunately wasn't able to be repaired during the time we were there. Whilst inconvenient, this by no means spoiled our stay. Would recommend both the property and Ludlow and certainly would consider staying again.

we really enjoyed our stay at Greyling Cottage - the location was perfect - we were lucky with the parking!! The kitchen was well equipped too,. The only downside for us was the mattress in the first floor double bedroom - it was soooo hard and hot! However that said we would thoroughly recommend the cottage to anyone wanting to enjoy the lovely town of Ludlow.

The cottage was well equipped and had everything you would need. My wife is a great cook and we were glad that we took her kitchen knives with us as the ones provided were old. Plenty of space, and as for comments from previous renters, we had no problems at all with the heating and the beds were really comfortable. Well situated however as everyone says the parking is a difficult. We went in October and parked outside every night no problem but summertime would be hard. Having said that the car park is only about 5 minutes walk anyway. Not too fussed on the new chairs in the lounge, a little small but otherwise an excellent place to stay.

Ideal location but heating could not be properly controlled and the beds were ridiculously hard.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. Three out of four beds are memory foam the fourth is a good quality small double antique wrought iron bed. With regards to the heating all the controls are fully accessible and instructions are provided. If you had problems with the heating I wish you had contacted me so that I could resolve the problem.

Excellent property in superb location. Furnished to a high standard other than the sofas which need to be replaced and the TV which is the size of a computer screen. We would book again. I can see why the parking can be a bit of a pain but we were able to park on Ravens Lane. Ludlow itself does not disappoint and has plenty to keep you occupied and thoroughly deserves its reputation for high quality food.
