Lovely, comfortable cottage with a lot of space. Very well equipped and the beds are comfy. The location is ideal as there are plenty of walks to do from the house and it is also central for other attractions.

The house is absolutely fantastic, suitable for both family and groups of friends to visit, it's got lots of DVDs, games and a huge living room that we all loved! The location is not far away from the local pubs, which by the way is amazingly yummy! Phillipa the owner is also extremely friendly so overall a very nice weekend away!

Not ideal with a toddler because of stairs but well equipped for older children and adults in good location for walking, places to visit and pubs and parks.

We loved our stay at this cottage. The only reason we didn't score this cottage with full 10s is because the lower ground floor bedroom is very damp, tge building is vety old so we would expect a bit of damp but this room is so damo it makes the bedding very damp and not pleasant to sleep in. We had young children sleeping on all 4 beds which caused us concern, they complained the beds felt wet. Also, all of the cupboards and draws could do with a good clean, and not all the windows open so we were concerned about fire saftey. Apart from that the cottage is perfect, it's very spacious and well equipped. We would stay again if the damp problem is sorted. We would most definitely give this cottage full score then.

We loved the cottage, it was bigger and lovelier than it looked in the pictures. It felt like a homely place, we had a lot of fun using some of the facilities, e.g. games, Wii, DVDs. The only downside of the place was that some of the mattresses on the single beds weren't as comfortable as they could have been. We would overall recommend this lovely place to others.

Lovely cottage, full of character, great location with a lovely, many-levelled garden, great for kids (but toddlers would need constant supervision). The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we had a lovely time.

Welcomed by a very nice lady the house sits in an absolutely brilliant location, exactly on route. From the house you can several walks and pubs are all in walking distance. House is more than adequate furnished. With 10 clean beds, a well supplied kitchen, nice big living and 2 bathrooms more than enough space for a big group. Definitely a winner!!!

Great location , family of 10 to celebrate 60th wedding anniversary . Beds very comfortable , views exceptional . Parking not a problem . Only problem was creaky steep stairs , difficult for elderly people , but this was high lighted in description ....
