Welcome Cottages

A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

Just less than 1 mile away from Wadebridge, this holiday property is the ideal base to discover North Cornwall.

These three holiday cottages (refs W43787, W43788 and W43789), adjacent to the owner’s home, have been thoughtfully fitted to a very good standard and are set in an attractive stone and slate barn complex. They are located in the picturesque hamlet of Bodieve, less than one mile from the market town of Wadebridge, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants. From here, you can hire a bike or walk the Camel Trail, either to Padstow or in the other direction to Bodmin, along a disused railway track. The area is renowned for its beautiful countryside and dramatic coastline, with a host of leisure opportunities on offer. The beautiful surfing beaches of Rock and Polzeath are a short drive away. Further up the coast, is the historic fishing village of Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed, and a little further, is Boscastle and Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur. The beautiful and dramatic Bodmin Moor is also close by, as is the Eden Project. The south coast with its gardens and traditional fishing villages are also within easy reach. Beach 3 miles. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub ½ mile.

12 steps to entrance. All on first floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft), 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Electric coal-effect fire in living room included. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and high chair on request. 28" Freeview TV. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Dishwasher. Freezer. Wi-fi. Sitting-out area with furniture. Barbecue. Parking (1 car).

had a wonderful time. the cottage was very clean and we had every thing we needed through out our stay. the farm was quiet and we didn't feel that we stayed so close to a stable. in fact it was lovely watching the horse in the mornings and evenings. unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us but we just discovered different attractions to go to in the raining days. we will defiantly recommend the cottage to our friends and hopefully come back again one day.

Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage which was situated close to family. The cottage was easy to find and parking was signposted for each cottage on the site. Our cottage was well equipped, had lots of extra things to keep you entertained if the weather was poor. It wasn't for us so we were out and about all the time, easy to get to places due to location. The bed linen was lovely, beds comfy, rooms a good size and the bathroom heated towel rail was great! We met the owners who were lovely and welcoming and had left a cream tea in the fridge as a welcome surprise which we appreciated after our long journey. The only slight negative for us was we could hear the people in the separate accommodation below, something to bare in mind. The cottage was part of a granary which has been converted and they have retained part of an original feature inside which is great. I love Cornwall for its recycling efforts. They even had recycle bins of every sort on the route out of the property which appealed to me! Would happily return.
