Grafton Grove is a lovely place to stay, it's quite remote but if that's what your looking for then go for it. Very very quiet, great walks, views etc. Only downside of the house is that there is no wifi and the signal on mobile phones is virtually nil. I know your not going away to be on your phone but you do want to be in touch with the outside world.

A rambling cottage that's much bigger than first thought. Situated right in the countryside and in the riding stables grounds, so good idea to like horses and dogs! Wellies are essential! Very clean and well equipped kitchen, plenty of room for the adults to relax and kids to play. Friendly welcome from owners. No mobile signal or wifi which is good for a complete break but would have been good to know beforehand. However there were a few niggles, that having read the visitor's book were a problem for previous visitors as well: no cleaning materials including washing up liquid, one toilet roll between 10 and no spares, couple of lights not working, no spare bedding, which was needed as cottage was cold at night and no stair gate. Shame really as these are very fixable problems that would mean more stars in the review.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Grafton Grove. We loved being in the country side with the wild life and the horses. The area is very beautiful and there is lots to see and do. With regard to equipment if you are offering towels etc. invest in a few new ones those supplied were a bit old ! a small welcome pack is usual these days just to get you settled in. All in all a very comfortable and roomy house.
