Lovely view from living room window, excellent location in a really nice village with 2 pubs and a variety of shops. Walking tracks just behind the cottage. 2nd bedroom very small and noisy as it is beneath stairs/bathroom/living room. Kitchen was adequate and well equipped. Two comfy sofas although tv very old and temperamental which was a bit frustrating at times. Overall the cottage was smaller than we expected. No enclosed garden but has a small patio area which you can't access directly from the house, no fence/gate to it.

Perfect for a couple (and a dog) ! Great walks and the location was perfect for the village pub (just 90 seconds away, walking) and the local shop. Had a great week there and would like to return.

Fab location but very outdated equipment and kitchen.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your review. Firstly, I would like to apologise for the issues you had with the kitchen in Graces Cottage during your stay, however here at Wolfscote Grange Holiday Cottages we have a policy that if you have a problem during your stay, then we aim to resolve it as soon as possible, therefore if there was something you needed from the kitchen that wasn't there for you it was only a phone call away. In regards to the kitchen itself in Graces Cottage, as you are aware, the cottage is not the largest we own, but this is reflected in the price charged for the stay, however the cottage is still adequately fitted with an electric oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, and all of the utensils- everything that is necessary for a week’s stay. The fridge and microwave, as well as the oak fitted kitchen haven't been in the cottage very long and personally we do not feel that by any means this cottage- kitchen included, warrants a 2 star review. Graces Cottage is family favourite, with many people returning year upon year, not just for the great location but also for the homely and comfortable cottage. As expressed earlier, we send our apologies however we do wish that you had contacted us during your stay and then something could have been done to resurrect the problem you had.

The cottage was exactly what we were expecting. It was ideal for what we wanted and in a great location. Would definitely recommend it!

The only reason I would not stay here again is that we like to explore other areas - nothing against the property or its location.
