Lovely place, we had a wonderful family holiday. Thought it might be to small for 5adults and a baby but it was fine. Will come again. Lack of a 2nd toilet the only downside.

The cottage is in my favourite place in the UK. The lakeland fells and lakes are astoundingly beautiful. The cottage is a warm and comfortable plce to come home to after exploring the area or walking the fells. The village of Gosforth has all the necessary facilities and the people are friendly. The caretaker is a gem! Well worth a visit.

A small cottage, that is very convenient and warm, the caretaker is friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have internet access.

The kitchen was not particularly clean also cutlery, crockery and plates needed to be washed before we could use them. I realise this is not the fault of the caretaker but probably previous renters, perhaps it would be better to have a dishwasher and not the washing machine for this to not occur.
