Wonderful stay at goose cottage. The home had everything we would require, well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa, large beautiful bath and a night may king bed. Immaculately clean. Furniture tastfully chosen and layout for cottage is great. Short walk from town which has amazing restaurants and convenient shops. Lovely grounds the cottage is located on with wonderful wildlife. Would definitely return. Couldn't recommend highly enough :)

An idyllic haven not far from civilization. Deer on the doorstep and a beautiful dawn chorus. All mod cons provided. A real chill zone.

Loved our week at goose cottage. Very comfortable, clean and worm. Everything you need home from home. The location is lovely, we had 2 bambies in the garden one morning. The wood burner is lovely on a cold winter night. We would love to take our dog Jack back in the summer. I can imagine it's amazing sitting outside on a summer night with a glass of wine. I would recommend this cottage if you want a relaxing, peaceful holiday. 4 star xxx

We stayed in Goose Cottage over Xmas 2016. Despite stormy weather, we had a great time. The cottage was perfect and the owners are lovely people. Highly recommended.

This cottage is located near Oban (10 minute walk). It is very well equipped, The bottle of wine left for us was excellent. We were made very welcome by the owners, who live a short distance away. There is a fantastic picnic area to the rear and above the cottage. This has fantastic views over a small loch. We saw deer and birds of prey in the area. There was only one small detail that could be looked at, The bed is Very hard, possibly not too every bodies liking. The wifi was excellent. We would highly recommend this cottage and we are thinking of rebooking.

We were utterly delighted with Goose Cottage. Spacious, well-equipped and well thought out. A short (15-20 minute) walk to the centre of Oban meant we only needed to use the car on the day we went to Glencoe. Perfect peace and quiet - we didn't see a soul while there. Many thanks to the owners for a great cottage and a great week.

We liked goose cottage it was well located, clean and well fitted out. It was nice to b able to have the dog with us too, and Oban is a good base for lots of other islands and walks both small and large.

Fantastic time and near enough to Oban town for pubs and restaurants etc. A nice 20 minute stroll to the town and ferry port for trips to the surrounding islands. Recommend the 3 island tour, absolutely stunning.

We had a lovely time in Oban staying at Goose Cottage. The location suited us well. A wander around McCaig's Tower Gardens is a must do and a drive to Castle View Cafe near Castle Stalker for breakfast and then lunch at the Pier Fish Restaurant at Port Appin. We took a ferry to Craignure and had a driving day around Mull visiting Tobermory then a lovely loop. On the Wednesday, with weather set 'reasonable' we took the Staffa Tours trip to Lunga & Staffa seeing sea eagles, seals, dolphins and more puffins than you could imagine. We also walked into Fingal's Cave on Staffa. Do take this trip if you can. Eat at Ee-Usk and return to relax at Goose Cottage, light the log fire and hope to spot a roe-deer in the garden, as we did. My only criticism of the cottage is that the washing machine is difficult to use and the manual not very helpful; we worked it out in the end but others have obviously struggled as the controls were suffering from miss-use. The bottle or red wine was very nice but a bottle of milk would have been more welcome after a long drive.
