We booked in february 2017 and found this cottage stunning. Suitable for 9 persons, we were only with three. The location is outstanding if you want that peacefull enviroment with only nature sounds around you. The house offers a lot of space, the kitchen is well equiped en invites you to cook a real Scottish meal. The single track road is your path to the ultimate, rural, unwind location and shouldn't be seen as a challenge but as a certain "value for your money" location. Be sure you want to do groceries before you arrive.

Excellent holiday and great place to unwind. only down side was difficulty contacting emergency number when accidentally locked out, which took a whole day to resolve. The view of deer from back of house was fantastic. No wifi or any mobile connectivity which was great for family unity!!

A lovely very large cottage that is set in its own grounds in a remote glen. Huge kitchen with a beautiful Aga that cooks perfectly. Lounge with efficient woodturner and lots of firewood. Bedrooms well sized with good beds. Bathrooms are clean and bright albeit only showers above the bath which is a pest for me. Pay phone in the lounge that takes incoming calls because unless you have a satellite phone you will get nothing in the house or nearby area as it is placed deep into a dead end glen. No wifi was a pest, we are all used to connection to the larger world and when its taken away you miss it. satellite TV worked very well but even a portable radio struggles to get a signal here. Views and wildlife were spectacular and a burn flows nearby so you have the sound of running water. Access is easy but its a l,ing long way to shops and a pub so stock up well. Staff from the estate were friendly and very knowledgable which was a welcome change from some places I have visited. In short this is a great place for a group of friends or family to enjoy a real isolated quiet time together.
