A good base in a quiet residential area, very well equipped and very comfortable. With in a short walking distance of two good pub/restaurants.

We had a great time at this holiday cottage and hope to return to Scotland again soon, although we do plan to go further north for further exploring we would return to this cottage if we were in the area as it was comfortable and ideally placed for the exploring that we have done

Lovely, warm, modern bungalow at the end of a very quiet, small housing development. We had four adults and two children in our party and there was ample room for all of us to live comfortably. The beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding and extra blankets if needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you would need on holiday. There is no tumble dryer but room in the kitchen to stand the clothes horse if it's too rainy to hang washing on the line. WiFi and Sky tv worked perfectly. The location was perfect for us to visit Urquart Castle on the Loch Ness, Glen Affric, Inverness, the Cairngorms and the Highland Zoo. The local Fiddlers Arms pub serves delicious evening meals but make sure you book early (same day was fine for us) as it gets very busy. The chip stand outside looked good as a quick alternative though if no room inside. This part of Scotland is very busy in August so the bungalow was a perfect retreat after a day out with the tourists!

I've used glenloch cottage several times over a few years because I have family in Drumnadrochit & it's very handy for me. Each time I've asked that the towels are replaced. They're so thin & very well used / badly needing renewed. To no avail so this time thankfully we took our own. Also it could do with a bigger fridge & freezer & a dishwasher. These things are important & inexpensive. Hopefully the owners address these issues.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: Thanks for your recommendation will certainly act on them but with regards the dishwasher...honestly there is no room for one. We will certainly get new towels and a new fridge freezer.
