There were two of us staying at Glenearn Lodge Cottage. The only thing that we missed when staying was that the mobile single was intermittent and there is no WIFI. This was necessary for us as we were house hunting at the time. Overall though we appreciated the fresh milk in the fridge. A packet choc biscuits to have with our first cup of tea after a long drive was a nice thought. We used the double bedroom looking over the farmland and hills in the distance. I may be a bit fussy but I was in heaven with the cotton sheets and bedding. Mattress a wee bit hard though. The setting is picturesque. Good parking for two cars. Comfortable furniture with a well fitted kitchen. If you are staying here watch out for the water virtually pouring through the bottom of the shower screen. We managed to prevent water covering the floor at the WC with a towel rolled up on the floor. We would go back and stay. It is well placed for exploring areas round Perth and down to Kinross. A drive through Glenfarg and up over the hills to Gleneagles is recommended.

Secluded but not remote, peaceful and quiet. Access easy and close to M90 and all routes. Enjoyed all the wildlife, especially the red squirrels. Beautiful estate with very friendly owners and we thank them.
