The cottage is very clean and well equipped. Its adequate for 5 but not massive. The garden and location however are absolutely fantastic. You are a hop step and a jump away from Hadrians wall.

We have stayed at many cottages over the years and Glen Garth is one of the best. Well equipped, thoughtfully furnished and supremely clean. The accommodation was ideal for four adults, the location was central for touring the Hadrian's Wall area with the Northumberland coast and Northern Lakes an hour or so away. You could walk to the remains of Birdoswald Roman Fort along one of the longest intact stretches of the wall from the door. Judith, the owner, was most welcoming and friendly. Our stay was too short to the area justice - we must return.

The bungalow was beautiful - very clean and with everything you could think of to make life easy. The owners were lovely and we appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine. Plenty to see in the garden - rabbits and birds constantly kept our attention. The venue is excellent - we walked to Birdoswalds and spent lots of time on the wall at various points, including Vindelanda amongst others. We also went to Cherryburn and Walkington. We would certainly recommend Glengarth for a superb holiday home. Thank you.
