Location was amazing and the house and it's settings were stunning. Unfortunately there was a strong smell of dog and thick layers of dust everywhere. The house would be outstanding with some tlc.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely valley, surrounded by hills and conveniently located near the North Wales coast. Rooms were very pleasant and we made great use of the conservatory. Well planted garden, with a stream at the bottom. Public footpath 50m away. Lots to do in the local area - we particularly enjoyed the Austrian Restaurant in the village, Great Orme copper mines and Electric Mountain. Dishwasher needs replacing and the plates should have been cleaner on arrival.

We have stayed at the cottage a few time over the past 2 years we have put a note in the book to say dishwasher is broken, unfortunately it has not been replaced or repaired parts drop off when you try to fill it!

We stayed for Christmas week and appreciated so much the lovely Christmas decorations. The weather was against us but we were warm and cosy in the cottage and we also much appreciate that dogs are welcome and thus able to share our holiday with us. Highly recommend getting Sainsbury's to deliver food. We arranged for the delivery to co-incide with our arrival and they were there within 5 mins of the time they gave us. We had an unexpected and serious family emergency which was rather more difficult to handle because of there being no mobile signal in the cottage. However, having the incoming landline was a great bonus. It would be the icing on the cake if there were to be a payphone.

A nice cottage near a pub and with a great location that allows you to feel that you are just far enough into the stunning countryside without being to far away from all the comforts of modern life.

We have stayed here on four occasions, because the location is superb. Access to the Snowdonia hills is immediate and shopping for provisions is within 6 miles. Local shopping and facilities are not brilliant (apart from Bunkers restaurant which is about to close). The cottage looks attractive and has a pleasant "country-style" garden. The disappointment of this cottage is that it is not very clean and when we stayed this time smelt of "dog", in spite of the large amounts of bleach that had obviously been used in an attempt to clean up. The beds and furniture are uncomfortable (ended up with back-pain by the end of the week). Two of the three toilets did not flush reliably. The dishwasher needs repairing or replacing. Several of he upper basket wheels are missing and two of the remainder readily fall out, so the basket guides are not secure. The whole structure easily falls apart. The dishwasher frequently required shutting several times before it would start. (Not sure why.) There is a plentiful supply of cutlery, crockery, glassware and pans, but some pan lids are missing which hampers cooking. The hob seems to take a long time to boil water even though it is gas and the oven is not good. The bar seats in the kitchen are poor quality which makes eating at the high bar table uncomfortable. Barbeque is past its best as is the garden furniture. If you want a walking holiday in beautiful surroundings and are prepared to rough it, this is the place.

Cleanliness was poor. Mouse dropping in kitchen cupboards, cobwebs which have obviously been there for years due to decaying flys and grubby carpets which haven't look like they had been vacuumed covered in pet hair. Mattresses very old and had springs poking through material. Location was good, some nice walks and easy access to Conwy and beyond. Recommend look elsewhere for money paid, better value can be found
