We really enjoyed our stay at Ger y llan. The cottage was clean, a good size, well equipped and presented, and in a very peaceful location. It was nice to have our own small front garden to relax in, and also a slightly larger garden area for the kids to play in. It lived up to expectations, from the information we had read and photos from the website. It was an ideal base for us, as we wanted to make trips both to the north and south of the area. Although there are limited local amenities, this was not really a problem for us as Aberaeron is only 10-15mins drive away with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs, and we spent quite a few evenings there. The owner was friendly and helpful and easily contactable when we needed to discuss a couple of things with her. We would recommend this to other families, and may return in the future.

Lovely, spacious, well appointed barn conversion in a good location between Aberystwyth and Aberaeron. Large rooms, well laid out. It could use a new mattress and sofa, and we would have liked a hairdryer and cafetière. Great to have a field outside for the children to play in. As others have said, it would be good to have had blackout blinds in the bedrooms. But in all it is a great choice. It was our first holiday cottage, but certainly won't be our last.

Enjoyed a peaceful week in this well equipped cottage. As previous guests have said - Sky light blinds let light through and although full central heating only one radiator in large double height lounge. An electric fire would prevent cold feet and make the fire place a focal point also some immediate heat until the central heating warmed the room up. A very good location for visiting the coast, National Trust Estate at Llanerchaeron, Cadw site at Strata Florida and the Nature reserves near Tregaron to see the kites. The owner was very friendly - thank you.

Very friendly owner. Not the most modern accommodation but very fair on price. Location great, peaceful but close enough to the coast, some nice towns and villages.

A well appointed quiet and comfortable cottage in a very good location for touring the west Wales coast, plenty of places to eat and drink close by.
