We liked the cottage very much. It is a few miles from local amenities but no problem if you have a car. The little shop at Cross Inn was very handy. There are lovely walks within a few miles of the cottage - New Quay, Aberaeron and Devil's Bridge - to mention a few. It was very peaceful. The cottage was warm and homely. Some new mattresses would be good, but we all slept well. The kitchen is well equipped and the cottage is spacious,

If you like getting away from it all then this is the place to stay. It is set in beautiful countryside away from the main road so lovely and peaceful. It is very spacious with everything provided to quite a high spec. It is the perfect location to explore west Wales and would highly recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ger y llan. The cottage was clean, a good size, well equipped and presented, and in a very peaceful location. It was nice to have our own small front garden to relax in, and also a slightly larger garden area for the kids to play in. It lived up to expectations, from the information we had read and photos from the website. It was an ideal base for us, as we wanted to make trips both to the north and south of the area. Although there are limited local amenities, this was not really a problem for us as Aberaeron is only 10-15mins drive away with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs, and we spent quite a few evenings there. The owner was friendly and helpful and easily contactable when we needed to discuss a couple of things with her. We would recommend this to other families, and may return in the future.

Lovely, spacious, well appointed barn conversion in a good location between Aberystwyth and Aberaeron. Large rooms, well laid out. It could use a new mattress and sofa, and we would have liked a hairdryer and cafetière. Great to have a field outside for the children to play in. As others have said, it would be good to have had blackout blinds in the bedrooms. But in all it is a great choice. It was our first holiday cottage, but certainly won't be our last.
