A lovely barn conversion in a great location - easy access to many activities and enjoyable days out - Castell Henlys; Canoeing down the Teiffi; Devil's Bridge; an excellent Play Barn (Aberaeron) on wet days, a little deceiving from the outside, but huge when you get in and suitable for children & adults; Castles & history galore; beautiful beaches and of course dolphin watching at New Quay is a must. Although as previously stated this was a lovely barn conversion, we found the ground floor of the cottage rather dark, cold and uninviting atmospherically; we didn't use the living room (although grandchildren did spend a little time on the play station), but spent most of our time around the kitchen table and/or in the bedrooms upstairs, which were great spaces and very light. The kitchen was well equipt, but would have benefitted with a bigger fridge. Although the front garden was fairly large, it wasn't football friendly. We take cottage holidays twice yearly with the grandchildren and this cottage, although scored highly, was not for us (a first!!). However, this did not deflect from a fantastic holiday and an area of Wales we will continue to visit.
