The cottage is in a wonderful location and the host could not do enough for us. We enjoyed every minute at the cottage and would not hesitate to return.

We had a very enjoyable week at Gean Cottage. The owner Roberta is the nicest most welcoming and helpful owner we have ever met. There are improvements we would suggest that would make the cottage almost perfect, namely the entrance door is difficult to lock and unlock and the shower above the bath is hand held which we found very disappointing.

A beautiful quiet cottage, surrounded by farmland with calves, cows, bulls, bullocks and heifers grazing nearby. An idyllic setting. No internet connection meant being totally away from the outside world. Sublime. The village pub had good food and the coffee shop in the village had cakes to die for. Rumbling Bridge was 8 minutes walk away. The view over the bridge down into the gorge is amazing. Dollar for basic shops and a climb up to Castle Campbell through Dollar Glen completed our stay. Roberta and Duncan our hosts, were most friendly and helpful. The milk, biscuits, chocolate and sweet peas were a great welcome. Thankyou

Such a warm and friendly welcome from lovely owners. The cottage is so peaceful and has stunning views across the glen and hills. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and with many thoughtful touches. Handy for most central Scotland towns/cities and a great base for outdoors activity. I had a lovely cycle to Loch Leven and there are plenty of great little cafes within a short drive/cycle. The pictures don't do the cottage justice - it is quite spacious but retains a cosy farmhouse feel. A lovely little bolthole.
