Fantastic little cottage, perfect for a peaceful getaway with the the dog. Lots of local walks and welcoming dog friendly pubs. One of the few places we would come back to.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend in this immaculately presented cottage which is full of character but offers every modern comfort we could have asked for. The location is perfect, the country estate is easy to find but, once there the cottage is tucked away in total seclusion and peace. Excellent walking from the door, together with so much wildlife to enjoy, and the herds of sheep and deer to entertain us ensured complete relaxation. Would totally recommend and we would love to return.

Another very cosy and comfortable stay at Garden Cottage. Once again, enjoyed walks on the beautiful estate and friendly chats with Andy the owner. This cottage continues to be spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm, all appliances used worked, there is plenty of hot water, a good T.V. reception; all in all a very comfortable cottage. We particularly like the log stove and appreciate the ample supply of logs. The large secluded garden is looking very pretty and will be delightful to sit out and enjoy a glass or two of wine in. The cows in the field next to the cottage are friendly and delightful to watch. There is so much of the estate to explore here and every turn makes you want to go further. Its a great place to be!

Lovely holiday.lots to see.very comfortable and warm, even in February. Our Springer spaniel also loved it and he can be awkward as is nervous of different places when on holiday. 10 out of 10! And with 2 teenage girls and no WiFi that's a compliment!grounds were outstanding too.simply beautiful. Considering rebooking for another holiday. Well done.
