plenty of space in this modern cottage for 9 of us. disappointed in complete lack of Wi-Fi availability during the week - were told that the outside connection was down. 2 bedrooms with ensuites ok, but could do with more showers to service the other bedrooms - we prefer proper shower cubicles to hand held mixers over a bath, so the occupants of the 3 bedrooms without ensuite all used downstairs wet room. plenty of parking and easy to find. loved the Christmas decorations and table decoration. plenty of 'consumables' provided - washing tablets, sponges etc. lovely cosy living room for winter evenings playing board games, watching dvds & TV.

Really enjoyed our stay at fryermayne. We were a group of 10 in our 20-30's and felt the cottage was very comfortable and spacious, we didn't need to worry about noise because of its location. Lovely log fire and big table to eat around made it feel really homely. The barn/games room was great fun and a good place to stick noisey boys if you want to get some sleep! Rooms are bigger than the photos suggest. Local pub is nice with good food and friendly staff. The village itself is a really pretty and a nice place to walk around. The cottage would be great for families or groups of friends. The owners popped in to say hello and were really friendly, helpful but not over bearing. Would definately stay again!

A lovely house; spacious, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The friendly, helpful owners asked if we would like one of the rooms made up as a twin or a double and provided lots of welcome extras - fresh flowers, a framed map of the area, charcoal for a barbecue, lots of bikes for cycle rides, table tennis and badminton rackets, lots of toilet rolls, soap, dishwasher tablets.... A great place to stay!

The accommodation fulfilled the requirements of the five of us.It was clean throughout and the beds very comfortable. The games barn was a bit of a shambles and most of the many bikes had punctures and there were no tools to adjust saddles repair punctures etc. The site is tranquil and an ideal getaway spot. Unfortunately the terrace area is nearly always in the shade so to get the sun we had to sit in front of the barn on the parking area. We enjoyed our week here and its proximity to lots of places of interest.

Nine of us from 3 generations had a great family birthday weekend stay here. I'll get the downsides over and done with as there were so few. Firstly, the property has the creakiest floorboards ever and there didn't seem to be much sound proofing generally. The TV was temperamental and there was only one but we hadn't got together to watch TV. The plus sides were the property was some way from the main road which meant the children could play out and ride bikes with no worries about traffic. There were 17 bikes for all ages and in various conditions but we had some great bike rides passed the farm and on to the heath. There are no cycle helmets so bring your own! The location is very quiet but no distance into the village of Broadmayne where there is a shop and a pub. There is so much to do in the area and we enjoyed Lulworth Cove and a steep walk up to Durdle Door. The garage with table tennis and table football was great and there are nets for badminton and football goals with plenty of space for each. The property is equipped with everything you could possibly want and the heating system great with plenty of hot water. The children loved the ice machine in the fridge! We would certainly consider it again for our annual birthday break
