A very tranquil cottage to stay in. Isolated, but great hosts with local knowledge, made it feel comfortable. A relaxing home from home, once you had conquered the roads in and out!

A beautiful secluded cottage. Superbly equipped and maintained. Only drawback is the access on very narrow country roads. My poor hubby had to do all the driving!

A lovely cottage and a very enjoyable week spent there. Despite directions to the contrary our sat nav took us straight to the right place via a quick stop at a supermarket in Bodmin. Very close to the Camel Trail for walks to Padstow, Wadebridge or, closer to 'home', the Camel Valley Vineyard. Other attractions a short car drive away are the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and St. Austell brewery. It is worth reading the guest book for some local recommendations. An initial downside for us was the poor phone and wifi signal but after a couple of mornings listening to birdsong over breakfast, and rediscovering the joys of reading a newspaper we soon forgot. Although the owner's property is close by the cottage is not overlooked and maintains privacy. Staying at Foxes Den was exactly the relaxing holiday we needed and we would definitely stay again/ recommend to others.
