Very lovely cottage. Didn't feel like I was away from home.extremely neat with everything I needed. I also had a lovely time feeding the sheep. Which is something I have always dreamt of doing. Overall, it was a memorable stay for me,and I'd definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a break from the city. Jill and John are the most wonderful hosts and i would like to thank them for giving me and amazing time during my 4 weeks stay. Am definitely coming back ;)Mark &Ola

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place. It is spotless clean, has all the equipment you need and is a cosy retreat. The motorway is within easy reach as are many places of interest. The scenery on and around Exmoor is beautiful. A week goes too quickly. We arrived to be greeted with scones, jam (home made by Jill),clotted cream and chutney, in the fridge, made by John. What a delightful welcome. Jill was full of information about things to see and places to eat, we also got to see the lovely sheep she keeps on the farm! Before we set off for home we were given a large bag of apples which I am pleased to say have now turned into crumbles in my freezer. Many thanks to Jill & John.

A lovely peaceful location with welcoming hosts and with thoughtful extras. Obviously because of the very rural location you need to drive to visit places of interest but this doesn't detract from an excellent place to stay.

We enjoyed our holiday very much. Jill made us very welcome and although she is a busy lady she always had time for a chat. Plenty to do in the area without travelling too far. We certainly would visit again.

Had a lovely relaxing holiday, wonderful views and sunsets. Very friendly hostess and we would stay again. Only downside was access through the village of Banwell.
