This could be a lovely little holiday retreat if you want to travel back to the 1970's. The decor is in desperate need of updating, including the uncomfy pvc sofas. We were aware of a lack of shower due to poor water pressure, however the cottage has better water pressure than we have at home and we have a shower! We ordered our shopping to be delivered only to discover no freezer! 50 quids worth of food binned, something a self catering property that sleeps 6 must have! If nothing else the place needs a real good clean, cobwebs and hazy mirrors are all too common. Dont worry about taking your alarm either! The neighbour and his motorbike make sure you're up at 7 on the dot so there is no fear of sleeping i That said The location is good, the local pubs and take aways are all good. The garden is lovely and was great for the dog. Good place to use purely as a base but thats about it.

The cottage has the potential to be lovely. However, as it is it lacks comfort. The sofas were really uncomfortable, as you keeping sliding off them. No shower was the major grievance for us. Information about the cottage, i.e. heating, bins etc would have been useful. Everything was rather tired and dated but the location was good.
