a very nice clean and tidy cottage could do with a few more blankets as it can turn a little cold at night but apart from that very nice holiday

Lovely comfortable cottage, well equipped, loved the garden, so quiet you can hardly believe you are in centre of town. Will definitely return.

Second time we have stay d here. The place has changed hands between our two visits and the high standards we experienced the first time have been more than maintained. We will stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at Forsythia Cottage over Easter and had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful cottage which is under new ownership and has been presented to a first class standard. The position was smack bang in the middle of Bourton-on-the-water which was within staggering distance of any number of shops and eateries. This was great when you've been out all day walking, its great not to have to go out in the car again to get something to eat. Italian was great at the end of the lane and also did takaway if restaurant was booked up. Also fantastic meal had at 'The Rose Tree'. Huge bonus was the parking space at the front of the cottage. Was concerned it would be noisy with the amount of people about in the village but once inside the cottage or in the delightful courtyard to the rear, you could have been in the middle of nowhere! No noise at night at all. I would not hesitate to recommend Forsythia Cottage to any couple wanting a central base in the Costwolds. All mod cons were available (including wifi). It was truly a dream holiday and would definitely stay again.

This is one of the nicest self-catering cottages I have stayed in over 40 yrs. Small but perfectly formed. Comfort only got 9 because the beds were a bit softer than we like. The mid village position is ideal, the cottage is very well equipped we would definitely stay here again
