Very nice cottage, very large for a 1 bedroom, the road down to the cottage is very poor and could damage your car, care is needed around the pot-holes

Really enjoyed staying here, However it is in the middle of no where which was sometimes a pain and left us with not much to do without a hours drive some where. The cottage has no service / signal which is hard when you are used to it and it would have been nice to know this before hand and also the TV in the front room needs renewing as it crackles when watching a DVD & there is hardly any channels to watch. Over all I would stay again but probably for 1/2 nights instead of the 4 we did.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Location was great peaceful and quiet. Had some wonderful walks around the estate especially Ness Glen. We were hoping for some really clear night skies but alas the clouds had other ideas. Would certainly come back again.

Like the Phoenix there has been a rebirth from the ashes for this beautifully rebuilt cottage which captures both old worldly and modern amenity in a very scenic surrounding. Absolutely lacking in nothing it is heated to perfection with showers on both levels, it is just a shame I couldn't transport the whole thing to replace my own humble abode. If you want peace, tranquillity, wildlife, engaging walks, echoes of historic eventing, a touch of class, this could be your Xanadu.
