The owners were absolutely lovely and we felt very welcome there. The house is nice but could be better decorated with matching furniture and more comfortable beds. For a weekend getaway it worked brilliantly but not sure I would book it for one week or more as it just had the basics.

Lovely little cottage. Location is ideal for walking with lots of walks from the cottage itself. Dave & Val were amazing hosts and very helpful, we would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely stay, great cottage, beautiful remote location, very kind hosts who went out of their way to help us and make our stay extra special by even giving our children a treat letting them play with the dogs and watch them in action herding the sheep. Highly recommend but don't expect to be wired up to the rest of the world, part of the charm is no phone signal and no wireless so the kids played board games and read books.

Response on behalf of the Owner; This response is not only directed to you, but to ALL our guests who have been our guests at Forest View Cottage throughout this last year (2015). First of all, my wife and I thank you for choosing the cottage for your holiday or short break and are delighted, yet again this year, we have been able to provide you and your families with a place to enjoy and to recharge your batteries in this wonderful rare, peaceful and special Brecon Beacons National Park and the village of Capel Gwynfe, which interpreted means, "a chapel in paradise". It truly is away from the stresses of life. Secondly, we would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a New Year which will hopefully bring you good health and contentment. Thank you and we hope to see some of you in 2016 when our hospitality will be, as ever, available to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. Best Regards.
